My mom said she was in the mood for Fufu. We called an African restaurant but they didn’t have it. The lady was so nice, she told us to go to 1111 Fulton street so we did. We were not disappointed. The owners greeted us as soon as we opened the door. Very nice people. We ordered two Fufu meals and paid about $44 altogether. We tried the beef and goat along with Egusi and Ego. Mouth watering food okay. That goat SLAPPED !!! I think they just made me fall in love with Nigerian food. The restaurant has limited seats and it’s not really a cozy set up to eat in, I would order out which we did. I’ve already recommended this place to others. I will certainly be back.

First time and my girlfriend I original went there to pick up some palm wine to make palm wine chicken but we ended up having dinner there. We had plans to eat elsewhere but the smell of the food along with the friendly service we couldn't resist. Definitely will return. Be sure to bring your appetite.

The reviews nearly stopped me from going, but I changed my mind after I had a good experience somewhere else with a 3-star review. I decided to give businesses with at least 3 stars a chance, especially Black businesses!
The food made me feel at home.!

Egusi, ground melon seeds steamed with spinach and dried fish. This is served with your choice of meat.

Go experience Nigerian cuisine, wash it down with a ginger drink or an African Beer, and say hi Chef Lookman at Buka

The African lady w the little hair talks very very rudely. Has no manners for customers, she doing homework & a huge play pen in the middle of the store!meanwhile they are 4 guys in the back . After yearsss of going I’ve never seen her. She’s cursing saying she’ll do this & that to me just VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Just nasty ..

I ordered yam and egg. The description says with tomatoes, pepper and onions. They gave me eggs with no tomatoes and barely any peppers and onions. Egg sauce was drenched in oil and inedible.
