I ordered delivery from here through Grubhub and was having issues with the pickup. I called and the staff was kind enough to wait a few minutes after close for someone to arrive.

I ordered through Grubhub. Someone look at the practical cake box they sent! That alone made me excited to try the Lemon blueberry cake slice; which tasted like a blueberry muffin. So soft and fresh. The lemon buttercream icing was pleasant. Not overly sweet. Presentation 10/10. Flavor 10/10. Butterly good.

We got the Brooklyn Blackout cake. It’s just unfortunately not that good tasting, but looks good. Was not fresh or moist. I would expect that if you’re spending $100 for a cake that feeds eight people, that would be freshly made that day. Especially if you ordered it a few days ahead of time. But alas, it was clear this was a previously frozen cake, it was not moist, tastes did not come together.

If you don't know what to get you can't go wrong with a cookie which is the size of my face and it's delicious chewy and not overly sweet. The real star of the show is the apple cheese cake! Easily became an overnight sensation, I will happily order it from now on! This is where you go to get high quality baked goods!

I got a pumpkin pie from here yesterday and it was genuinely perfect. $40 after tax. 10” and it had beautiful leaves made from the crust on top. I highly recommend the pumpkin pie!

Butterly Bakeshop made an absolutely gorgeous zodiac birthday cake last minute for my best friend. They even managed to have it ready a day earlier than initially planned. Highly recommend for custom cake ordering (and literally anything else)!
Kristen made the Dolly Parton/Pink Pony Club cake of my dreams come true! She totally got my vision and I couldn’t be happier, it was perfect! The funfetti cake with strawberry filling was SO delicious and the decorations were just stunning!

Sorry to say this because it's the only cake shop in the immediate area now but I can make a better cake than the one I got here. No picture because it wasn't picture worthy. Cake too tall and narrow; frosting was hard; cake itself too moist and crumbly. Just a mess of sugar and butter once plated.

I really wanted to like this bakery. However I’m ultimately disappointed in the customer service and overpriced items. First I was never contacted about finalizing a cake order I was supposed to hear back about. I had to eventually reach out again myself, still decided to place the order, & paid in full in person a week in advance. I’m then contacted just the day before it’s supposed to be ready, told I will owe an additional $10 due to the extra work my cake requires. Poor etiquette but I acquiesced. When I arrive to pick up the cake, 30+ min after it’s supposed to be ready, it is completely unfinished. Had to wait (delayed me getting to my own party) as they rushed to get at least some color on it. Then proceeded to still charge me the extra $10. Cake tasted ok but the service and appearance were not worth the $200 I paid.

I was looking for a place to order a cake for my boyfriend's birthday and found Butterly through google. He was very specific about wanting a traditional birthday cake with funfetti, sprinkles, and vanilla buttercream and they had just that. I placed the order online, called to confirm they received it, and then went to get it the day of. It looked gorgeous. We took it out about an hour or so before cutting to make sure it was room temperature (as they suggested) and when we finally cut it and ate some, it was so fresh, fluffy, and delicious. Everyone was raving about it (and the birthday boy was very happy). I would definitely order again.
