The decor is so beautiful! They have an amazing brunch deal: $25 for coffee, one brunch drink, an entree, and churros. I tried their taquitos y huevos dish, it was delicious. I'll definitely be going back!

Was looking for a spot in the area to grab a quick bite. So glad I came across this one! What a Gem. Nice little cozy place. Great atmosphere. Very beautiful inside and outside. Great selections to choose from on the menu. I went with the brunch carnitas bowl. DELICIOUS. The pulled pork was so tender and flavorful. Potatoes nice and tasty. Egg was a little over cooked however still made the dish! My friend had the traditional Guatemalan breakfast that she enjoyed as well. Everything was perfect here. The service was great! And the whole appearance of this place was very appealing! Very eye catching. So happy to have found it. Will return again!

I didn't know I wanted to be sold on the virtues of yucca fries until I had the ones coming out of Claudia's kitchen. I love my deep fried root vegetables as much as the next person, but the crispy exterior, fluffy innards, and perfectly sized wedges of these babies had me wishing yucca fries were as ubiquitous as the classic potato french fry. And that sauce! It's probably just a version of chivey mayo but wow I lapped that stuff up. They make me feel like I'm eating something more refined and less bad for you than fries with mayo and that alone is worth celebrating. All hail, the yucca fries at Claudia's! I kept my expectations for the vegan tacos in check but they also surprised me in the best way. I've had one too many vegan dishes that are added to a menu as an afterthought to appease people of all dietary restrictions, but theirs felt thoughtfully put together. The plantains added both a crispiness and sweetness, the beans created a toothsome bite, the guac added a creaminess, the pickled jalapenos and onions punched it up and brought it all together. The plantains were so crispy and well made that I got a whole 'nother order of them as a side. I helped myself to the textured fries that came with my friend's fried chicken sandwich, which was apparently also delicious, and am convinced they a sorcerer working the deep fryer. Hyperbole is way more interesting to read so I'll just stick with that. All of this impressive food came out of the condensed menu offered at their food truck too, so consider me doubly impressed.

Very rude staff at the Evil Twin food truck. They have poor customer service skills, a little kindness goes a long way. If they don't want to work weekends, they should resign....

I came here expecting to have a decent brunch and an open mind about what would be on a Guatemalan menu. My family is from Guatemala, and the food there is super simple and hard to imagine being something that a Brooklyn brunch crowd would be down for, but I was so wrong! The place was jamming and the food was above and beyond what I expected. I had the brisket Guatemalan style tacos, and they were insane! So full of flavor and deliciousness, I was happy I ordered right! My man got the breakfast tostado, which was super simple, but still so good. The refried blacks beans were seasoned so lovely, and gave me that nostalgic vibe, of which I cannot put my finger on. Please tell me how you season your beans! Yummm! We also had the garbanzo salad, and loved that as well! We will definitely be back! Thanks for bringing a little guate to the hood!

First bite of that tamale got my five stars. Very cute place. Very friendly server and bartender. One of the best addition for food in Williamsburg area.

They know what they are doing, both the interior and the food are done well with an eye for detail. The food and service are modern with a guatamalan influence.

Love Claudia's. Came here several times when it was C Lo Cafe and I think it is even better now. I don't know Guatemalan food but I have had several things from the menu and all have been delicious. The carnitas bowl is probably my favorite. And they have great coffee which is huge for me. The staff are really friendly and attentive, and the place is very clean and comfortable. I always leave happy.

We got the traditional breakfast and the banana deep pan cake which I am now forgetting the name of. We also got some passion fruit juice and a few cocktails and a guava Mamosa. Everything here is excellent. The staff was really kind and accommodating. The ambience is really nice and doesn't feel like a gentrification vibe That I'm finding in the rest of Williamsburg. I felt very at home here, and the food was fresh, healthy, Rich, flavorful.

If you you want to try a different style of South American Cusine, head to Claudia's. Its is a family owned neighborhood spot in East Williamsburg serving tasty Gautemalan fare. The restaurant is run by Claudia, her brother Mario and their friend Raffaello. Check out my YouTube post where I ate this wonderful Cusine while doing an interview with Claudia and her team The cuisine is what Claudia grew up with. She is from the neighborhood and is giving back via her establishment. She and the staff here are super friendly and welcoming. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a cute bistro like setting. There's plenty of natural light and murals on the wall with a cozy atmosphere. They also have a full bar serving great cocktails. Claudia's is located in a neighborhood fast becoming a culinary destination. If you haven't tried Guatemalan food, definitely go here. I've been here twice and this is what I had on my most recent visit. Tamal Its Claudia's mom's family recipe. It's a corn masa filled w shredded pork (carnitas). Pepian De Gallina A chicken stew filled with warmth along with string beans carrots and chayote a turnip like vegetable. The chayote is light and watery to taste. DOBLADA . It's like an empanada but with a thicker crust. Stuffed w house made brisket and topped with avocado mash, curtido, salsa, cortija. It's nice and crunchy with layers of taste. BOCADO DE REINA known as the queens bite. Banana bread pudding, pan-seared, served with crema. This was sooo ridiculously good! It's a secret family recipie. They would only tell me it has bananas.

Stopped by on a Saturday at about 4:30 for a late lunch, and the team at Claudia's DELIVERED. Happy hour every day. Nice. But the star was the food. I got the Guatemalan style tacos with carnitas- delicious with picked onions and jalapeños. My partner got the fried chicken sandwich- it was huge! My favorite part has to be the fried yucca with an amazing creamy green sauce. THIS SAUCE. I would buy it. We got 2 orders to dip the crispy yucca in. Returning soon!
