Lobster Pasta was Everythinggggg and the Portions are Massive‼ Key lime pie is perfection Place is booked up every day so don't wait till last min to make those reservations. I Love coming to Brooklyn roots! The food and service is always incredible! I highly recommend making a reservation. This time, we ordered the clam linguine and it was incredible, so many clams and the sauce was delicious. We ordered the mussels in white wine as an appetizer and the sauce was perfectly balanced. The vibes are friendly and homey! It's always a treat to eat at Brooklyn roots!

This place is so amazing ! The energy and atmosphere of this place is one of a kind ! The food is so good that i will be returning like i helped build the place LOL the staff super friendly and the waitress nicole was very helpful and informative! I tried things i never even tried before and trust me i will be returning to try everything else on the menu ! Even there desert options are so good ! The coffee as well ! 10 stars lol

One of the best meals I've had in Brooklyn, period. Incredible food. The portions are enormous and the staff is overwhelmingly pleasant and helpful. I wish I lived closer...this would be my neighborhood haunt. When I'm in NY, it will be.

Not impressed by Brooklyn Roots. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are very nice. But the food? I had high hopes for this place because it's a fave of the party I was with. What was supposed to be white bean escarole soup was a huge bowl of mashed bean glooey stuff that could be used for a papier mache project, with slimy, overcooked escarole leaves, and way, WAY oversalted. Yech! What's on the menu as "crispy" potatoes are just home fries, without the onion. No imagination. The asparagus was overcooked. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli, which never arrived. However, I will probably end up going again with my friends, and I will order a salad, which, judging from what I saw, look phenomenal.

The food was just okay. We ordered the Sunday sauce and for 5 people they only gave us 2 meatballs. Being Sicilian I also expected a lot better tasting sauce. Nothing I ate would convince me to go back. My son ordered the pasta dish with seafood and lobster tails. He loved it except for the lobster. Way too dry. Drinks was also not good at all. The worst expresso martini. Service however was spectacular!!!! Our waitress couldn't have done a better job. She was amazing. The resturant is really small and the restroom is way to close to their teeny tiny kitchen.

Had this place saved to try since I saw it on an Instagram post. I had no idea you needed reservations but lucky for us a party canceled and we got their table. It was a super rainy day and night and this place was still popping. Great atmosphere, music a bit loud. Photos in the bathroom were hilarious, great touch guys.I tried the crab cake special with Cesar appetizer, it was good but it needed a dipping sauce.We also got the mozzarella en coroza comes with either a red sauce or vodka sauce for dipping, baked clams and fried artichoke.For our main dish to our surprise they are family style, so plenty for sharing. We ordered the chicken Parm it was nicely thin. Red sauce had flavor not so acidic. We also ordered the rigatoni vodka. You can't go wrong with vodka sauce.Even though we had no space in our belly's we ordered afogato, vanilla ice cream and mousse cake for dessert.I wish they would tell you they have cappuccino, its not listed anywhere but apparently they do have it. Just have to ask for it.Heads up on parking in the area ,it is super duper hard to find.We would definitely return, it's a place u should try.
