I love this place so much. The food is delicious. My only complaint is that the wait time here is crazy. It's always been long because there is usually only one server but this past time we were waiting for nearly 1.5 hours for our food. We love the food though so it's makes it worth it. Just don't plan on coming here if you are in a rush. The Beef Fataya with spicy Senegalese sauce is our favorite. We get it every time we come and the Yassa Guinar is my favorite dish. For dessert we recommend the lava cake, it's perfection!
Been to this place a few years ago and I am glad I was able to come back. The lamb dibi tastes just as delicious as the first time. Tender and juicy. The portion size was really good. I was able to take some home. The menu has changed a bit but I feel that is a good thing because there is more variety and fusion of dishes from other west african countries. My neice and husband also really enjoyed their food. Atmosphere is nice. You have options to sit outside or inside. Love the decor which took me back to Senegal. I will be back much sooner this time.
Came here with my friend for dinner. I went with the 5 course meal, the portions were pitiful. I’m a west African and grew up on Senegalese food so I’d know what to expect in flavor. I really only liked the Dibi and plantains. The thiebou rice was BLAND, they had a sauce for it but why not put flavor in the rice stew ? Anyway, I promise you are better off going to a Senegalese restaurant in Harlem, more for your buck and more flavor too. This restaurant definitely caters to a certain demographic and it is not African.

Food is amazing but DINE IN only. Don’t bother with delivery, it will be 2 hours late. Absolutely delicious drinks, zero ambiance. Waitstaff is very cliquey, not interested in chatting with new customers. No ambiance, great food and drinks if you can dine in.

Tried the yellow chartreuse cocktail, calamari, and mafe…all were spectacular! The mafe came with generous portion of extra sauce unexpectedly and kindly because it was drinkable.Atmosphere was better than an average place at that price level-nice ambiance and high spirited waitress/waiters made it so enjoyable! The only issue was that it was the music was a bit too loud. Definitely check out the shop next door, marche. They have some lovely scents, gorgeous textiles, and the scotch bonnet hot sauce.
Dietary restrictions: We had a nut allergy and they were more than accommodating/made sure to explain everything on that could be an issue
