BONG NYC Reviews
Amazing
Amazing front of house staff. Small expensive dishes but interesting flavor profiles. I found some of the toppings too salty but it was manageable with rice.
Very very small space, ready to be cozy.
Nothing but great things to say about the food here! Amazing intro to Khmer/ Cambodian cuisine. The oysters were some of the best I’ve had. The shrimp, scallops, and lobster dishes were also very flavorful. It’s definitely a small hole in the wall restaurant- it holds about 15 people at a time which explains why reservations get taken up within minutes of being released. That being said, can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

BONG NYC is a cozy yet vibrant restaurant that offers a delicious blend of authentic flavors and warm service. Known for its excellent food and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. The menu features favorites like clams, shrimp, lobster, and Khmer dishes that showcase love and tradition in every bite. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. While the seafood can run out early, arriving early helps. The vibe is lively, and if it's too loud, sitting outside is a good option. Overall, BONG NYC is a small business that delivers great taste, culture, and a memorable dining experience.
