I discovered Calabrije’s Margaritas and Tacos due to it being located next door to a music event I attended in Brooklyn. I noticed it as soon as I stepped out my Uber. Calabrije’s had a very colorful, warm, welcoming, and inviting vibe which I was immediately drawn to so I HAD to drop in for cocktail. I had a Pomegranate margarita that was out of this WORLD!!! I give this establishment an A+ and I’d 100% visit again.
So this place wasn’t horrible but kind of mediocre to me based on all the hype. The guacamole for the chips and guacamole was heavily undersalted and I had to add some myself. Chips were decent and warm. My hibiscus margarita tasted like nothing (normal lime) but my bf’s cucumber was surprising refreshing I actually highly recommend that and my pineapple mango tasted like the pineapple mango smoothie from McDonald’s but my bf said his blueberry coconut had an off putting...
Fun place with a great atmosphere. Candy on the margaritas was a great touch. Frozen margs a tiny bit small for what they are, but tasty.
Food was good but overpriced. Better to get a quick snack and then eat somewhere else.
