Small but cute spot. Placed an order for pickup online. I had requested that my pad Thai be made without fish sauce, but they called me back right away to offer me something else since it apparently can't be made that way with their recipe. Appreciated that they reached out!

Hit the spot. Smaller place, and you get what you expect.Service was fine, though the menu was worn out terribly.Nice variety and broken down by region for specials.Tried the duck, and it was good. Mostly fat and bones, but the flavor was better than expected.

There are so many good Thai places around, this one is not good and overpriced. I got the khao soi which is usually served with a whole chicken leg. This place advertised on their menu they serve it with chicken thigh, but they ended up just adding overcooked and dry chicken breast to it. This photo is also with all the soup added to it- it’s supposed to be a noodle soup lol. Disappointing.

Four of us had four different, extremely delicious dishes and a couple very tasty appetizers. Each of us was quite pleased and hope to come back again!

The prices was good, I liked the restaurant, very small but comfortable, I like when the music is very low. The food was not bad, but it really needs more Thai touch… it needs a strong flavor, you can do it better!

Had a delightful experience at Charm Kao - a peaceful atmosphere, excellent food, and ok-priced lunch specials. Surprisingly not crowded during the week; perhaps the absence of outlets limits it for work lunches or laptop use.

Possibly the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Try the specialty dishes!

We ordered take out of our favorite Thai dishes. Our order was ready in less than 15 minutes. The food was good but not my favorite in the city. The employee we spoke to was very friendly on the phone and in person. The restaurant itself is quite small and had a bit of a smell. The price was a little higher than typical Thai spots, $19 for beef dishes.

A disappointing experience, I got the green curry take away call mom with normal spice level. It came full of red chili flakes, and impossible to eat. Red chili flakes are such a copout when you call yourself authentic Thai restaurant and this is how you make things spicy. The curry was also literally just water and hardly any coconut milk. Had to throw most of it away, will not order here again. Two stars because the person on the phone was very polite and the delivery was very fast but everything else was a letdown.

Came here on a Saturday night looking for a new Thai spot. Room is separated into two sections for seating, though pretty cramped inside overall. Ordered the Had Yai Fried Chicken ($25) - a cut up chicken filet, deep fried, served alongside sticky rice and sweet chili sauce. The chicken was very disappointing - meat is overcooked and tough while the breading was greasy. Best part of the dish was the rice and some sauce on top. Also got to try one of the tofu entrees which also wasn't cooked through. Service was fine, as the dishes came out quickly. Food here seems to be up or down depending on the day.

Laab was excellent, as I remembered it from my time working in upland Thailand. Duck was over cooked though sauce was tasty. Noodles were not at all up to any standard. I really wanted to like the food, but sadly I cannot.

Very authentic Thai food. All the dishes like duck curry, glass noodle vegetables and fried flat noodles are super aroi, just a tad spicy as Thai food should be. Place just a simple eatery. Lots of take away orders. Recommended for anyone yearning for Thai taste in Brooklyn.

Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Delicious pad ke mao and ground chicken dish. Awesome spice level. Yay!

Not the best = We got a papaya salad, mommy shrimp, veggie pad kee mow, and tofu ginger sauce over rice. The papaya salad was fine as was the shrimp, but the tofu was pretty sour and so we ended up throwing the dish away. Kee mow was below average as well. The reviews here are overall good and I've seen people recommend it, so it's very possible we just went on an off day!

Having spent time in Thailand can say that this is THE CLOSEST THING I've found in many years to authentic Chang Mai in-country experience. Small, thoughtfully decorated and spotless. The owner was very friendly and attentive. Our main courses were delicious and very reasonably priced. This next part is a bit obscure, but as a child in Bangkok, my all-time favorite dessert was mango sticky rice (rice with coconut milk--recipes much more complicated than I would have guessed). I have found this exactly ONCE in 24 years in NYC, at a Lao restaurant. Pretty much made my day, week, month etc. Aside from the dessert, this is a real find. Loved it.
