The food was amazing and tasted so fresh. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very chill and friendly. Their drinks were really good as well.
The popcorn shrimp was rock hard. The drunken noodles had bamboo and string beans in it, which I've never seen before. It had so many thick pieces of carrots I had to pick them out. There was barely any chicken in it too. I ordered the chili fried rice with extra chicken and it was the blandest thing I've ever tasted. There was too much chicken and barely any rice.
Service is not good.

WOWOWOWOWOW. Must visit. Sooo pretty. Never been so happy I got introduced to this place. I went with a group of 7 or so & we had to split it evenly. They only take 2x cards. So I don’t think my price is a true representative of the items I ordered. But sharing below:
- Lin- so sweet. Not good.
- Wai-Jai-Dai-Ga 3/5 nothing special
- Curry delicious! Very affordable too for the quantity.
- Chicken the peanut sauce is sooo good. Make sure to ask for it in a to-go container. They are really weird about it. Comes with lettuce & is a great eat.
The place is absolutely beautiful and feels hidden. It’s sooo large. Best for parties or a cute date. Not sure if I’d come here solo.
Don’t respect delivery man😡
This place is awesome. A must go while in Bushwick!
Everything tasted fantastic! I can’t wait to return and try more items. It was so good I forgot to take pics until it was almost too late.
The food is quite good, but twice I have ordered for delivery from Chiangmai and the food never arrived. (Out of 4 times ordering online.) Both times I waited over an hour, when I called the restaurant they said it was out for delivery and then 30+ minutes later it had still not arrived and I had to cancel the order.
Edit - I ordered on Seamless.
Best Thai food I had in nyc, their menu is not only pad Thai and curry!
Short ribs 11/10

This is a northern Thailand restaurant with authentic Thai dishes. We got the roti massman, the curry puffs and fried salmon belly balls for appetizers and the Pad Siew flat noodles with chicken, spicy beef stew as entrees. The food was delicious and the service was fast and courteous. The ambiance was relaxed and upscale.

Food was great, but the service leaves something to be desired. The host who seated us was very friendly though!

Amazing atmosphere, food and drinks! Our server was friendly and patient as my friend and I looked at the menu. We shared the Doi-Chang and Lin-Ping cocktails which were delicious— highly recommend both. The jungle curry has to be the best curry I’ve ever had, incredible flavor. Highly recommend dining here!

Chiangmai Diner & Bar is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, offering a truly authentic Northern Thai experience. The menu is impressive, with a wide variety of dishes that are sure to please any palate. The atmosphere is also top-notch, with beautiful decor that creates a truly immersive experience. While our waitress was new and still learning the ropes (our food took a while to arrive and there was a minor mix-up with our order), her friendly attitude made up for it. I'm confident that with a little more experience, the service will be as excellent as the food and ambiance. Highly recommend!
