Several days ago, a friend and I decided to check this coffee shop out on the recommendation of a friend. We entered the shop which was fairly empty and we were the only patrons waiting to be served. We were not greeted by the staff - in fact the two employees on shift made a conscious effort to move away from the register and have a conversation amongst themselves (photo below.) My friend and I were reviewing the menu and discussing what we might order so initially it wasn’t an issue that we weren’t being served or even acknowledged. After standing near the register for several minutes, and an attempt to ask a question to the employee that was outright ignored, we decided to spend our money at one of the many other fantastic Bay Ridge coffee shops that actually wants business. As we were leaving the shop, another man entered and was immediately greeted and serviced by the employees. This incensed me and I decided to return to take some additional photos to show just how empty the shop was and how there was no excuse for the employees to blatantly ignore us completely other than perhaps racism or just plain hipster judgement. This place is trash based on the complete lack of customer service and clique-ish environment.

I want to like this place but the quality is super inconsistent and the prices are exorbitant. Sometimes my latte tastes great but most of the time it just tastes like milk and takes forever to make and costs almost $10.

I was in the area of this coffee shop today and decided to go inside. The atmosphere and the service are spot on. I only purchased a blueberry muffin due to me delaying my first meal. This is a very relaxed place. Great for meet and greets

Unfortunately still not have gotten to be an in person customer, but I am a monthly subscriber and my order has always been the greatest. Best coffee ☕️ ever drank by me. No longer purchase coffee from any other business! Each new august from month to month is always awesome! Never have been failed! Outstanding and friendly mail in service by city ?️ League! Definitely a business ?? to continue to shop at and support your coffee needs through!

As a loyal repeat customer who has visited your establishment many times, I was disappointed to hear about your refusal to let a familiar customer use the restroom simply because they weren't making a purchase at the time. This customer should have been remembered, and your failure to offer a basic courtesy has now cost you their business—and mine as well. We won’t be returning.
Customer loyalty isn’t just about the transaction, it’s about relationships. Neglecting to recognize and respect loyal customers damages trust and ultimately costs you repeat business and revenue. It’s unfortunate that such a small moment has led to the loss of loyal customers.

Love the manager and the staff. ? Front desk is extremely friendly and will answer any questions about coffee. Take a bag of beans home to enjoy and you won’t be disappointed! The baked goods by Little Boxes slap hard.
Kid-friendliness: Their family Fridays are a godsend to parents and friends of all ages.

I’ve been coming here for 4 years (way before the rebrand). Before, the place used to be friendly and welcoming. Now the front desk is cold, service is slow, and the music isn’t fun. Definitely better cafes in Bay Ridge that stay true to who they are.

Passed by to have a coffee and some me time. Coffee was fresh and perfect. Real baristas and awesome customer service. Everyone seems happy and welcoming. Great roasters as well. They took the time to explain the different roasts with passion. Would definitely recommend and come back to taste more batches. Bought a couple of bags, looking forward to trying them out.
Stopped by today with my child to do some work and grab a bite and it was a great experience! Staff were extremely friendly and attentive pretty good selection of things to eat. That turkey sandwich was the absolute best! My kiddo inhaled it and the lemonade. Love the spacious tables and music. Honestly super chill place to get some work done when you need a change a scenery especially when you work from home. Will definitely be back!
Kid-friendliness: It seems minor but I really appreciate that the cashier looked to my kiddo and paid attention since they were ordering for themselves
