My son recommended this place for us, he rates this bakery for GF and vegan choices. My wife and I tried this, were very pleased with the service, choices and taste. There are places indoor to eat, since my son lives near here and frequents here, that's a great recommendation.

This is truly such a great bakery vegan or not, but I'm so happy its vegan so I don't have to miss out. My favorites are their palmiers, kouign amanns, croissants, and escargots, but anything there is good including the food and coffee.

I wish I could like this place, since it's all vegan, but I just can't. The laminated pastries they sell are just awful. As far as I can tell, they don't bake on-site and seem to source them from the same place that Le Petit Monstre does (also awful).
They are flavorless, dry, and the layers are always congealed. They are not soft and flaky like they should be, but rather thick, chewy and gross in texture. You can see this failed layering in the photos. This croissant also horrible lopsided.
This time, I got a pistachio croissant and paid a whopping $8. There was barely any pistachio filling. It at least tasted ok, but had a bad texture. Where I had hoped for a pureed pistachio butter-like texture, I instead got chunky, sweet paste.
The service was perfectly fine, and they do have a bathroom for customers.
The service is AWFUL to be nice! Please if you eat vegan food for the first time, vegan places and services are not like that. And there are wonderful vegan food that workers are happy to receive people.
I’m not sure don’t know if it is prerequisite to work there to be extremely inviting, unwelcoming.
I did not put a zero stairs earlier to support vegan community, but this place is causing more harm than good for vegan reputation.
I’m not sure if they think they are the only place that offer vegan food in NY. The atmosphere become bad to due the treatment they offer. Please change the way you treat people bc you are making people you are causing harm to vegan communities.

what happened to this place, the dude taking orders was very rude, he was like pissed at us for talking the other and sighing to every other client here. He got the order wrong, when clarified he got more pissed?
This place was full very nice people before.

I checked out this bakery because my friends back home recommended it. The vibes are really good, the staff is awesome, and the food was fantastic, but the owner or manager, that weird bald guy, was super rude and honestly ruins the whole vibe. He's also really rude to his staff too. Like, get outta here, but everything else was top notch.
