One of the best meals I’ve had in the city in some time. Everything from the cocktails to dishes and desserts were excellent. I’m already plotting to come back! Simply perfect. 👌

Food was yummy and so were the cocktails. Staff was super super nice and helpful. I'll only say it was quite loud so harder to have a conversation but that's NY I guess!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Colonia Verde and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve loved dining here for years, and the event only deepened our appreciation for this gem. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and effortlessly beautiful — perfect for a celebration.
The food was incredible, and our guests are still talking about it. The service was outstanding — thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind. They handled my avocado allergy with great care, and when I spilled sauce on my white top, a server appeared immediately (and discreetly!) with club soda before I even reached for a Tide pen.
The team was so organized and accommodating, even letting us bring our own décor for the garden setup and handling all the details for us. Everything ran seamlessly, and it truly set the tone for our wedding weekend. We can’t wait to return for every anniversary dinner!

Had really solid brunch here. Very cute. Would come back
The combination of food and atmosphere at this place is tough to beat. The back patio and especially special place to have dinner. Everything I’ve eaten here is good from chicken to fish to vegetarian options.

Used to be somewhat eclectic Argentine/Latin American fare. In the last couple of years, it had turned into a Mexican restaurant with fancy food name like Mexican Feijoada that sounds Brazilian but is just rice and bean with meat. Nothing Feijoada about it. Nothing is wrong with Mex but there are already like 20 of them within a few blocks. What's wrong with giving the neighborhood a choice?

Very good place for Latin flavors in neighborhood. I really enjoyed the La Picosa drink: the cucumber & lime flavor really stood out (very refreshing and presentation was nice). The breakfast tacos tasted very healthy and all the duck dishes were well executed. Cute space in the backyard but only for rsvp folks — we were walk-in so seated at bar (I recommend taking rsvp in advance). Service was good and overall good vibes.

Favorite brunch of all time. We’ve been twice now and have gotten the gem salad, shrimp tacos, and some mixed sausage and grilled veg and cheese plate. All of which were unreal

Bang! This is called dining.
Nice summer/fall/spring evening you walk in here and all your worries are gone. The curation of design, smells, and sounds elevates your mindset of what to expect when you’re going out for dinner.
Get a seat outside on the patio and you’re in for a drink, especially in the early evening. The food was delicious and tacos were big. All dishes were cooked to essentially perfection and had just the right amount of flavor.

Phenomenal atmosphere and food. If you can, book the garden area in the back. It will be easier to snag at the 6pm timing than the 7pm. It will enhance your experience 2 fold.
Dishes to try:
- Trout Ceviche
- Fried Pork Belly
- Shrimp Tacos
About the only downside is that cocktails were a little strong, which is not relevant for everyone, and seen as a bonus to others.

Went for a weekday late lunch.
The atmosphere is cute - sat in the green room on a sunny day. The outdoor patio was also available.
The food was not shabby - we got the miso eggplant, which was quite tasty but surprised that it was a cold dish!
The sausage and vegetable platter was a huge portion, this was a unique and hearty dish.
The shrimp taco was ok - it was nothing special.
The servers were friendly. I would come back to try other dishes and their cocktails.

My lunch at Colonia Verde was a delightful escape. The ambiance, with its verdant courtyard, feels like a Brooklyn oasis. The highlight was the Pao de Queijo burger. The savory grass-fed patty, perfectly cooked, was a harmonious blend of rich beef and sweet caramelized onions. The cilantro pesto added a vibrant, fresh counterpoint. But the real star was the bun—a warm, chewy, and gloriously cheesy pao de queijo that redefined the burger experience. Paired with crispy shoestring sweet potato fries, it was a truly inventive and satisfying meal that showcased the restaurant’s mastery of Latin American flavors.
