I've been trying to visit this spot for some time now, but there were always hours wait lines whenever I would be in the area. One lucky Sunday I got my first chance.
I was immediately greeted upon walking in ( appreciated, especially since the counter server was ringing up 2 people while answering questions of a third) and I immediately ordered what all my friends told me to get- curry oxtail slice. I also ordered a chopped cheese slice out of curiosity- I love a chopped cheese!
The oxtail slice has absolutely nothing about it beyond the fact it's served on a triangle shaped slice of bread. That being said, this is the most delicious and unique slice of pizza I've ever had. The oxtail is soft, tender, bountiful, amazingly flavorful- this oxtail tail is better than a lot of the braised oxtail I've had at different Caribbean restaurants throughout Brooklyn. I honestly wish I had a slice in hand right now.
The chopped cheese slice was equally amazing- generous amounts of meat and cheese, seasoned well, and a little bit of heat. It's as good as some of the chopped cheeses I've had around the city (can't compare to the Bronx, haven't had any there yet)
I know they've been successful enough that they've started opening other locations. Gonna try the East Village Cuts & Slices next!
The slice was good but it was small for the money slow service just to get one slice, hard to tell from looking at the outside it's a pizzeria. I have to admit to have a lot of different varieties but I still have to try I'm sure they all taste good

The service was awesome! Met the owner and chat with him for a little, very nice man. I got the lobster and shrimp, Thai chili shrimp, fried salmon, and the Thai chili salmon. They were all very very delicious 10/10 recommend!!!

You know the food is good when you don’t even get a photo! Cuts & Slices absolutely lives up to the hype. The pizza is next-level, and the customer service? Top-tier. Xenia went above and beyond to help my friend and me pick the perfect slice, and let me tell you—everything was chef’s kiss. While I’d go to war for an oxtail pinwheel, every bite was a win.

We visited the Lower Manhattan Location on Saturday night. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We tried the sweet chili oxtail pizza, the jerk salmon pizza and the oxtail fries. They were out of red velvet cookies, but they made some fresh for me. The team went above and beyond to accommodate us. We ordered a few slices for the road. Everything was 10 out of 10 would definitely return and recommend!!!!!

The pizza options are wonderful - they have come up with some truly great pizza toppings. They have oxtail , curry shrimp, and a host of very different very tasty toppings. A great idea and great tasting pizza.

I had to visit to see what all the hype was about. I saw it featured on Good Day. Pulling up to the shop, cars were double parked. There's a barricade rope outside to keep order to the constant flow of customers. Customers were in groups and pairs; not a solo customer lol. Once inside, space is very limited. There is one table in the back, but it's right in front of the single bathroom. The cashier constantly telling the customers that once they've ordered, to wait outside for their orders. But staff was courteous. They kept running out of pizza,but they were making it ,and folks were still waiting for it. Finally after I got my pizza, I sat in my car and ate every bite of my 2 slices. It was WORTH THE WAIT!! 🔥🔥💯💯
Came for the Tank Davis Fight stopped by on our way to the hotel … EVERYTHING was delicious. so good we came back before our flight to take some home. Try them ALL!!!

Great pizza .. if you not spending $50 or more your not ordering it right. I'm going back for the oxtail because it was soon good.. Plenty of parking on the weekend. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the line was only about a 10 min wait and 10mins for my pizza to get heated.

This hypey place does very out-there, unconventional pizza with a permanent queue, but it’s worth the wait, hype and slightly higher price point. The oxtail slices are outstanding - intensely savoury and generously topped. Jerk chicken and buffalo chicken were also excellent (and slightly cheaper). The crust is unlike any pizza I’ve had too, and reminds me almost of Italian ciabatta. Service on a busy Saturday afternoon was manic but friendly.
