It's hard to find a decent Chinese food spot in the city, but this one has great and fresh food. I've never been disappointed, and they're fast. It's my go to in the area, and it's a popular spot. They're usually busy.

Weng's Garden offers great value with large portions and reasonable prices. This neighborhood spot is known for its Chinese food, which many loyal customers appreciate despite its slightly faded ambiance. The menu features simple Chinese-American dishes, including chicken wings, chicken fried rice, garlic broccoli, sweet sour pork, and shrimp with veggies. Most items are reasonably priced, with the highest cost likely around $12 for those who are very hungry. The restaurant accepts cash, Zelle, or Cashapp, and even has an ATM machine on-site for convenience.
While the phone service can be unreliable, the staff has decent English communication skills, making it easier for customers to place orders. For those who prefer, ordering through delivery services like Uber Eats is also an option. Customers can expect generous portions, perfect for meal prep, as one customer noted being able to store leftovers for multiple meals. Although the atmosphere is not trendy or neat, many believe that a more casual setting often means good food. Weng's Garden is a solid choice for those seeking affordable, filling meals, hitting the baseline expectations for Chinese-American cuisine.
