DALLAS BBQ ruined my valentine's day. There was no wait for a table but they completely forgot our food. We waited over 1 hour,the waiter had to be notified because he never came to check on us. After we complained then he wants to be attentive. After going to the kitcken the food was still over 15 minutes. People came after us was seated and served. It took so long they were about to close. It was about to be 1AM, no other place would be open and no delivery service nowhere. I never received my food. You would think a manager would come out and apologize. Instead they let the waiter do it. He also showed me a discounted bill but why would I care of the discount if I DONT HAVE MY FOOD!. Ive been here several times because i live in the area and was never treated so unfairly. I have been a manager in a way more bigger venue then BBQ and I have always made sure my guest are notified of every step. Will not return not worth it.

I went there for dinner on Valentine’s Day, so of course it was packed. The food was fairly good, and overall I had a nice experience.
It was super crowded, and I ended up waiting for quite a while. During that time, I noticed one of the hosts, her name is Farhana. Even with all the chaos and nonstop rush, she handled everything with such professionalism and a calm, welcoming attitude.
What really stood out to me was her personality. Despite how busy it was, she stayed friendly, composed, and genuinely kind. You don’t always see that level of grace under pressure, especially on a night like Valentine’s Day.
She definitely made a strong impression.

Ordered chicken and waffles honey-dipped over cheddar scallion waffles, served with coleslaw. I love that the waffles are served with maple syrup and also a hot sauce. And I ordered a side of Mac & cheese topped with cornbread crumble. Sooo good. And they give you free dessert - lil chocolate donuts.

Almost identical with original west 72nd location, I miss a lot, still good BBQ, tad over cooked texas style beef bbq ribs, like slimy texture was too much cooked. As usual baby back rib with sticky sauce is the best. Can't skip the onion loaf

The chicken was nice and shiny with the sauce but tough like rubber. Shrimp was excellent but I almost got a Charly horse in my jaw on that touch skin and rubbery meat.

Love the food. But I have to be honest about something. Several times I’ve been here and used my debit card I’ve suddenly had a crazy charge on my card. Could’ve just been coincidence, but last time I went there I got a charge for a Harley motorcycle hit my card 3 days later that was not mine. So please be cautious, use cash here.

place remodel your restrooms, it looks like a scene out of a horror movie. Dont recommend that Mac and cheese its frozen Mac with a twist of blandness. Cornbread dry as all hell and the little donut hole umm yea. Overpriced #metoo
