Dallas BBQ was a family restaurant I went to over the years and enjoyed it very much. I went recently to get their beef ribs and it was just like I remembered, very flavorful and soft, it pulls from the bone. The cornbread and Mac and cheese are excellent as well! This location is very spacious so it's worth a visit.
We were craving bbq and had never tried this place before. We loved it. The food was so good. We had crispy shrimp, guacamole, frozen pina coladas, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, cornbread and Cole slaw and literally everything was on point. Prices are very fair and service was good too. Will come back again soon.
My friend and I visited Dallas BBQ on August 6, 2026, around 6:30 p.m., and had a great experience. Our server, Ashu, was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. He even went out of his way to make sure we had paper drink menus, which we really appreciated.

Based on recent reviews, Dallas BBQ - Gateway Mall offers a mixed but memorable experience. The service can be wonderful, with staff described as pleasant, kind, and attentive. One server, Sadia, was an absolute delight. However, on busy days, a waitress can be quite overwhelmed, and the restaurant can be extremely loud. The food receives high praise for items like the ribs and wings, which are a must. The salmon bowl is spectacular with great flavor and fresh ingredients. The early bird special offers a good sized portion for a great price, with delicious honey basted chicken and Hennessy wings. The cornbread is sooo good, and the margaritas are on point. Some dishes disappointed, including the brisket sandwich, which was dry sliced meat in a bun, and the Mac and cheese was not flavorful and overpriced. The guacamole was deceiving, served as two tablespoons on shredded lettuce. On a positive note, the manager is very attentive to customers and staff. One guest experienced a double charge on a credit card, but the issue was resolved between the restaurant and the bank. The atmosphere features great vibes, good music, and a lively environment. A surprise dessert of chocolate covered cake pops was also provided.
