Their Charbiz is bad, especially this girl's behavior is not so good, you need to sit for a long time for food and if less for delivery, you need to sit for 40-45 minutes.

Super cute, fun dim sum experience! The server was very attentive and nice, the robot food delivery was adorable, and the decor is a fun blend of modernistic and typical Asian restaurant vibes. The food was hot, fresh, and delivered quickly. Not the best dim sum I’ve ever had, but still good and satisfied my craving. Will definitely be back!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dumplings, spring rolls, sesame balls were all pretty good.

False Advertising.
Big light up menu on the wall that you can read from outside
said 4 dumplings for $6.95.
So I ordered 2 different types, take out, based on THEIR MENU.
Bill was $19.95 because they were selling me 5 dumplings in each type, both costing MORE than $6.95 at 2 different prices.
One order of 5 was $7 and change and the other was $11 and change.....that's how they got to $19.95 for 10 dumplings...when I was expecting to pay under $15 for 8 dumplings.
When I asked why my total was different than advertised,
They said the menu was "not updated".
HUH??
What restaurant lets people order off a menu with wrong prices and portions??
They saw me LOOKING at the menu....and ordering off this menu
So, how hard would it have been to tell me BEFORE putting my order in that they would be charging me almost $5 more?
OR, how about putting up a sign up saying prices AND serving sizes have changed?
How hard would it be to put a small piece of paper correcting the wrong price and wrong size order?
No apology for their false advertising...which left me feeling like they thought I was in the wrong.
So I asked for my money back....and left feeling like they didn't need my business anyway.

Eh, this was all mediocre. Tried but had no interest in finishing the lotus leaf chicken rice and the Hong Kong beef + wonton soup. Other dumplings and wontons we ordered were the definition of “fine”. Better options around. Delivery so can comment on service or atmosphere.

A truly memorable dinner. Dumplings, curried and fried prawns and bok choi, all new to me! I really liked everything. The dumplings have a "soup" inside that you can choose from different types. We accompanied everything with a lychee tea, delicate and well paired! However, the food is not heavy and very easily digestible! The robot cat that brings your order to your table is really cool.????Well done!

Vegetarian options: Oh god, the bok choi was good!

Really fun and delicious meal. Especially the eggplant shrimp dish and the broccoli dish which we added to the pork ramen. Yum. We’ll be back and the robot was very sweet.

Dimmer & Summer is a new dim sum restaurant addition to our neighborhood. We were in the mood for some dim sum and decided to try this local spot. As we checked in on Yelp, we were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary steamed pork buns, which were absolutely delicious. The restaurant currently serves Milk tea, Chinese hot tea, and coffee for refreshments. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including Rainbow soup dumplings, Shrimp and pork Shumai, Wonton noodles soup, and Rainbow shrimp dumplings. All of the dishes arrived in a timely manner and were both satisfying and tasty. We also loved the cute robot that delivered our food!Beyond the good food, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the friendly, attentive staff. Overall, our experience at Dimmer & Summer was well worth it and we highly recommend it.

I had been wanting to come here for a while. But I was sorely disappointed with my visit. The food was mediocre and did not taste remotely authentic. I will not be back.

Aesthetically, this place is very unique and pretty, with amazing Chinese decor spread throughout, ranging from the wealth cat statue to designs made of wooden dim sum covers! The service was quick and the robot cat Bella was very cute, offering a very unique and refreshing hospitality experience! The food, however, is far removed from authentic Chinese and is probably geared towards more of an American palate.2/5 - The Philly cheesesteak mini buns was okay, with the texture of the bread being quite soft and pleasurable, but the filling was lacking, resulting in the taste of the bread overpowering the taste of the filling.0/5 - The yuzu Siu Mai skewer had absolutely no yuzu taste and the peanut butter dressing overpowered everything else, so I highly advise against it.2/5 - Curry wagyu beef lo mein was just mediocre, with the curry being very mild and although the noodle was coated with a healthy amount of sauce, it unfortunately wasn't all that flavorful.2/5 - The chopped meat scallion pancake was also a miss, with very minimal scallion and burger beef meat that's not even chopped, resulting in uneven bites that detracted from its enjoyment.2/5 - The Hong Kong style crispy wings was definitely crispy and the meat juicy, but the sauce coating it was overly salty, which made it less enjoyable; I can imagine it tasting better with just regular seasoning.5/5 - The one saving grace was the pan fried garlic wonton, which had a nice crisp with a nice meaty plump shrimp inside, providing an excellent texture contrast! The sweet soy sauce paired with it was also delicious and definitely enhanced it! Highly recommend this. For drinks I got the matcha latte (2.5/5), which wasn't sweet enough and had a lot of milk foam. My friends got the pomelo drink which was incredibly sweet and I would rate it a 1.5/5.Overall this was a definite miss for me, but it was a unique take on dim sum that I think was still nice to experience. For the price, the quality of the food is definitely lacking, where the only one good dish was the wonton dish that didn't have an American twist to it. Maybe because I had authentic Chinese dim sum before and my taste buds are biased, but I really struggled to find the other dishes overly enjoyable; they were unfortunately just mediocre.Nonetheless, the experience was a nice one and I really hope they can continue to improve; it's a great idea to add an American twist to dim sum, but they definitely have a lot of room for improvement.Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Found this super cute dim sum spot Dimmer & Summer with a robot server named Bella - seriously, it’s a blast watching her serve up dishes!? She steals the show with her futuristic charm, delivering a delightful experience. The chefs , honed at Tim Ho Wan and Tao, craft each dim sum masterpiece with precision and passion. Some of my favorites are chopped cheese scallion wraps, wagyu beef lomien, rainbow soup dumplings, Szechuan spicy wonton and many more. If you are up for a fun dining experience with mouthwatering eats, this place is a-must try!Featuring ⤵️?Chopped cheese scallion wrap?Wagyu beef lomien?Truffle pork soup dumpling?Crispy yuzu shrimp shumai skewer?Rainbow soup dumpling?Pan fried daikon radish?Szechuan spicy wonton?Taiwanese style wings?Taro tapioca?Mango Pamelo sago?Custard sesame ball

The box containing my order of pan fried chicken dumplings were marked “dumpling legen- dim sum expert”…quite the name to live up to. Boy did it live up to the name! Dumplings were so flavorful and perfect texture and sweetness. Definitely will be back!

Ordered delivery, and only 2 out of the 6-7 things we ordered were correct. We received our order an hour and a half after placing, and food was cold. There was no receipt attached to the bag, so it’s hard to say if we were given the wrong order or if there was a total mess up. We couldn’t eat some of what we accidentally received because of allergies, but what we could was greasy and soggy. Save this place for in person.
