Really stop during our rainy walk thought the park. Really cool vegan dog
Big fan of the Italian beef (although really, you can't go wrong)
Really really great hot dogs the best in nyc!!! Awsome service. Definitely recommend for anyone in the mood of a good hot dog!!! š„
Dog Day is a truly special place and the reason I moved to the neighborhood. I otherwise consider myself a vegetarian of 8 years. These hot dogs are divine any time of the year, but hereās my advice:
On a crisp fall day, donāt eat until 2pm. Have two Chicago dogs and a milkshake, then walk through the park. A cure-all.
Last October I had a great conversation with a zombie witch who shared my table. It told me to always, always answer when I hear the hot dogs calling. Sometimes I hear the dogās call ringing through Greenwood Cemetery treetops at night and I have to wait up all night in a cold sweat praying for noon to arrive.
Chicago dog is amazing!
The guys that work here are so great. Foodās great. 10/10 every time.
Awesome food to go... Fun atmosphere... Very friendly employee!
If you want a really good hot dog when you're in brooklyn, this is the place to go to!
So good! Everything is amazing!
Gets a five star review.
Canāt say enough good things about this place. The food is unreal, and itās run by even better people. Make sure you make dog day a MUST STOP when you are in the area, itās become so for me. I mean look at this food!!

The vegan Chicago style hot dog made me realize I actually love hot dogs. This place can turn my day around because itās incredible.
Vegetarian options: 2 vegan dogs.
Dietary restrictions: There are vegan dogs (Chicago and Chili), but you have to make sure to get the vegan bun as well. They donāt carry gluten free buns, but they will make you a dog with one if you bring your own.

$10 for a hotdog that had 7-Eleven cheese and fake chili. The hotdog was not worth it's price. Don't recommend. šš„ŗ

If you like Chicago dogs ā these are the real deal. If youāve never had one, donāt try it unless itās in Chicago or here. They even have the poppyseed rolls. Incredible!! The little shop is nicely decorated and nostalgic. There are a few tables outside. They sell out quickly so go early on weekends. Owner is so nice to chat with!
