Delicious pork tacos!😋😋 On a cold day it was so nice to enjoy fresh, tasty ingredients and friendly service in this small family run restaurant. Highly recommended!! I look forward to my next visit.

There seems to be a lot of fake reviews for this place. There's no private dining rooms, there's no service team. It's a simple hole in the wall serving authentic Mexican food.

All I can tell you is...

My wife and I come here every time we go to Bay Ridge. The food is excellent. We have never had a bad meal. The steak burritos are jam packed, juicy and flavorful. The tacos are amazing with tender pork, amazing ingredients and sides.

Pricing is super reasonable - we both had lunch here today (pork tacos and steak burrito) and with a soda it's just over $20. That is a bargain.

Lastly, the people behind the counter are genuinely friendly, polite and efficient. There's only a few tables and you might be able to seat 10 people but it's worth it. Takeout and delivery is available.

Do yourself a favor and try their food - you won't be disappointed. Just ignore those supposed genuine reviews and try for yourself.

My meal was better than what most similar places offer. You'll find these tastes are exclusive to this spot. The service team was personable and considerate. The service team was helpful and kind in spotless premises. El Mexicano Restaurant & Cafe #6 employees create a comfortable atmosphere.

I don't mind the distance because this place delivers. My partner and I shared this plate. Substantial food quantities offered at affordable costs. The employees make you feel welcome. This place stands out clearly.

went to try out the food and every beautiful bite was full of cheese, rice, sauce, and the works. im writing this review before i fall asleep from eating so much. 10/10 would recommend. no photos available since i ate everything the second i got home

Salmon quesadilla was melt in the mouth kind of delicious and came with a dark green salad on the side. The Al Pastor burrito was also filling and flavorful. Definitely cooked by a mama and papa in the back 🤤🇲🇽🫶🏻

Its a small place, almost cozy. The food was great, got a salmon quesadilla for 11 dollars and got this humongous plate i wasnt expecting. My family got other things for the same price and got equally big quatities. Althought i would ask for a little more spice next time
