So this guy told me there was only a little Bit of steak left. And he gave me that.
Me on the other tone ask him why he dint tell me that when i was ordering i could have order some else if i knew.
Then he proceeded to say then u should have order something else.
Then we went back and forth about how im supposed to know there lik bit steak left if you the server dont say anything
Then he starts saying thats the regular portion for steak.
And im telling him is not i been coming here for 10 years and thats not 13$ worth of steak LITERALLY there was so much pepper that the meat purpose was just to serve as juice for the pepper
Like completely violated.
Im telling him just the sight of it made me lost my appetite
He say u should have order something else so instead taking accountability he say is my fault.
So imagine going for 10 years buying food consistently in a place.
Just to find someone who not even properly a year old yet in this place.
Telling you that you wrong for expecting the same amount of food you been getting for 10 years.

This is the behavior that wants you to either have a conversation with their supervisor which he is mad rude himself and only care what happens in the dining restaurant this is why you got so many people serving food in yayos with nasty attitude and attitude like they ain’t wrong in nothing
So since this not happening at the dining tables. He dont pay much attention and he let them get away with murder.
Like i say that attitude to make you want speak with supervisor.
Or catch that specific employee outside and ask him what is his problem. Either or im done with this restaurant.

On a hungry Saturday where I wanted something fulfilling I came across this place with great reviews and man was I disappointed to say the very least I had came into a restaurant where if you were not sitting down to eat they did not care about you or the food they served you I got a classic something you can’t go wrong with rice beans and pernil and boy did I go wrong the beans must of been from like three days before how mushy and nasty they tasted the rice had a hard texture to it as if it was left out all day in the heating light the pernil was a joke I think Stevie wonder could make better it was under-seasoned and seemed like they thought the oil and grease would make up for it I mean overall for 11 bucks it’s not the most I’ve ever paid but I think this is the biggest let down yet three blocks over I believe is another Hispanic restaurant and I can personally say theirs is better

I'll start off by saying I ordered take out, so my experience with the food quality maybe different than the (possibly) well deserved reviews for dine in that are glowing compared to our delivery.
We ordered aroz con Pollo. The plus is that you can easily feed a family of 3 with one order. Plentiful, so the relatively high price for the dish ($20) balanced out.
Unfortunately, the food didn't taste like spanish food. It tasted like defrosted Chinese vegetable fried rice that was not cooked in house, with a conservatively seasoned rotisserie chicken chopped in 4 pieces and tucked in Chinese rice. I'm sure the food is better for sit down (and everything taste better with a nice setting), but I wish the takeout was as great as the reviews for people that ate in and said it was authentic Spanish food.

I didn’t stay to eat in the establishment due to a waiting hungry teen at home lol however the food is EXCELLENT. Full plates, thoroughly cooked and juicy chicken, rice is ON point and I love me some black beans and sauce. Good home cooking and the price point was super affordable and top tier packaging. It was to go and not one drop was spilled on the ride home. Can’t beat it with two fresh cans of soda. Atmosphere was cool laidback and clean. Neat presentation and no flies. I’m so grateful because the food kept me full and I caught the itis lol 😆… all in all great food and I was not paid to give this review. I hope to enjoy their food again soon whenever I’m in the area. Thank you Yayos♥️

This used to be a Cuban spot famous for its toasted Cuban,Pork and Ham & Cheese hero sandwiches! As well as Cuban style cuisine! Unfortunately when old man Yayo passed away 😩😢 His family sold the restaurant and it's never been the same!! Was there recently after many years and was disappointed 😞

I enjoy my time at this restaurant. Whether alone or with friends. The service is attentive and prompt. The food hasn't failed on any visit. The price is the only thing that keeps me from eating here more often. When I go, it's a treat for me. An appetizer, entrée, salad, and one drink can easily cost 90$ with tax and tip. So I choose when I go wisely. Great place!

I went to this restaurant yesterday with my sister before the Marc Anthony concert.. The ambiance was.nice, staff were professional and very accommodating. I'm rating this restaurant a 4 because my appetizer came out the same time as my meal and the appetizer was cold. We waited awhile for our food but it was worth the wait. Will definitely go back and I do recommend this restaurant for some good Latin food..
