McMahon's Public House is a spacious pub conveniently located near Barclay's and close to the subway. The prices are reasonable, and the food is decent, with options like Fried Calamari, Quesadilla, and inexpensive burgers. The Chicken fingers were a bit dry, but the French fries are often praised for being very good. The bartenders are friendly and professional, with a great tap selection that includes Guinness and Carlsberg. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, making it an ideal spot for a pre-Barclays meal or drink. During games, the pub can get loud with many TVs, but on quieter nights, it’s a comfortable place to unwind. The beer is always cold, and servers are attentive and pleasant, often going out of their way to accommodate requests, such as changing TV channels.
