Emma's Torch Cafe is a nonprofit restaurant with amazing food and the kindest staff ever! The kitchen is open until 3pm, and it's a popular spot with all tables full on weekends. The waffle breakfast sandwich with blueberry compote is a must-try, while the crispy chicken sandwich and fries are also delicious. The latte has a perfect balance of espresso and milk. The avocado toast, salmon tartine, and baked goods are all top-notch. The staff brings warmth and excitement to every visit. The only downside is the recent switch to disposable dishes, which some customers find less appealing. Despite this, Emma's Torch remains a favorite spot in Carrol Gardens for its great food and mission supporting refugees.
