I always call in and order the exact same thing. My order comes with toast on the side, and the toast usually has butter on top — but EVERY SINGLE TIME, I ask for my toast to be PLAIN and for the butter to be ON THE SIDE. That’s how I ALWAYS order.
Today, while I was placing my order, the guy on the phone had an attitude from the second he picked up. He was rushing me, talking over me, and even said, “I’M BUSY, CALL ME BACK LATER,” while I’m literally a customer trying to give him an order.
When my food arrived, there was NO BUTTER ON THE SIDE and NO BUTTER ON THE TOAST at all. So I called back, like I normally would, and told him they forgot my butter. Instead of fixing it, he gave me even more attitude and said, “I PUT BUTTER ON THE TOAST.” First of all — NO, HE DIDN’T. Second — even if he did, it would still be WRONG, because I clearly asked for PLAIN TOAST WITH BUTTER ON THE SIDE.
Then he actually had the nerve to tell me he wouldn’t send the butter because “I DON’T KNOW HOW TO ORDER.” Maybe if he actually LISTENED the first time instead of complaining and trying to hang up, we wouldn’t be here now.
So I hung up and told him I’ll just dispute the charge with my bank — and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
I DO NOT recommend this place. The staff is RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and clearly don’t care about their customers. They just lost a loyal customer who ordered from them at least three times a week. NEVER AGAIN

It was delivery. Egg salad on roll (with blue cheese on the side) tasted something like a blue cheese on a roll sandwich. Greek salad, dry, very less than ordinary.. Alway Ok in the past, like Americana, slow downhill.. Praying 🙏 for uphill!!

I don't understand the negative comments here. Empahsis diner is great. Always clean & the food is great. It's American diner food it's not fine French or Italian cuisine it's good stick to the ribs eats. 🍔. Service is good too.

I used to love this diner . The server is extremely sweet and amicable however she was unable to get my the order correct. My friend ordered turkey sausage she brought out some weird looking bacon. The water she brought out had no straws.They dug a fork into my friends plate to remove the bacon. She had no knowledge on how to split the bill.
I ordered a grilled chicken panini. It was soggy . It wasn’t toasted enough. I there was hardly anything in it.
The atmosphere can use an upgrade it’s pretty run down in there.

Found this Brooklyn Gem while walking with my Hubster after a NYU Dr appt in the area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with such a homey feel. Service was great!.... Staff were very friendly and attentive to us. We had breakfast and had takeout dessert for later. Which btw were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed it and will be back.

Delicious burgers and generous portion sizes. Their cakes are also suuuper tasty (baked in-house!), if you’re looking for a luscious slice of cheesecake or carrot cake this is the spot.
Everyone working there is awesome too. Always feel welcome whenever I eat there.
