FaFa Room is a cozy and cute Asian-fusion cafe known for its warm, welcoming interior decor and vibrant, photo-friendly atmosphere. The space is small but thoughtfully designed with attention to detail, making it perfect for couples or small groups who want to relax and enjoy a casual meal. The staff are friendly, speak both Mandarin and English, and show care by offering wheat tea or water upon seating and checking for allergies after ordering.
The menu at FaFa Room is wide-ranging and interesting, including sandwiches, pastas, salads, rice and buckwheat noodle bowls, desserts, and drinks. The signature icy taro ball is highly recommended for its delicious flavor. The wheat noodles come in a generous portion, and the black pepper beef pasta is flavorful, well-seasoned, and has a nice spicy kick from the black pepper. The orange and apple juice is fresh and tastes homemade. The food generally offers good value, with prices around $14 for some dishes.
However, some dishes have room for improvement. The pepper beef & creamy bacon spaghetti was barely warm and could be served hotter. The sandwich presentation was cute but lacked enough filling, and the dressing was a bit on the sweeter side. The takoyaki was crispy and enjoyable, while some other items like the shrimp with scrambled eggs and spaghetti differed from expectations in flavor or quality.
Overall, FaFa Room is a charming spot with great vibes, tasty food, and a cozy atmosphere, making it a worthwhile place to visit for a relaxing meal and some photo moments.
