Good is good, service alright, but music is always too loud and uncomfortable for brunch. Staff play music they like at the volume to keep themselves awake. Some restaurants allow the staff to entertain themselves over the comfort of the customers.

Fat Rabbit Diner is a Fort Greene gem. Cozy vibe, friendly staff, and a menu that nails comfort food with a twist. The fried chicken sandwich and smash burger on Texas toast are must-haves. Deviled eggs? Surprisingly addictive. Great cocktails and wine list, too. Perfect for brunch, date night, or solo bites. Not your average diner—this one’s got Brooklyn soul. But I would recommend additional dessert selections.

Love my Fat Rabbit for hangover recovery, an afternoon snack or casual evening dinner. Everything I've ordered has been excellent but don't miss the egg & cheese sandwich, fried chicken sandwich and Italian Wedding Soup. The servers have all been delightful especially Becca who gave me menu tips and let this over-caffeinated customer yap her ear off about screenplays and AI. Give this young lady a raise, ownership!

Idc what anyone has to say about this place, FAT RABBIT IS THE BEST! The smash burger was to die for and the fries were garlicky and crispy. The steak was so juicy and delicious. I definitely am going to go again!

My wife and I decided to stop in for a quiet bite to eat at Fat Rabbit Diner last week. Unfortunately, our experience was bad due to the extremely rude bartender who greeted us with an unsettling silence. She glared at us without a word until I finally broke the ice and said hello. Once we were seated, a gentleman appeared to take our order and serve our food. He seemed somewhat pleasant, but there was an underlying tension in his demeanor, as if he felt pressured to attend to us quickly rather than genuinely engage.
The food was decent but not particularly memorable. I’ve certainly had better breakfasts at other diners with more flavorful options and heartier portions. Nonetheless, if you need a quick breakfast fix, this place might suffice. However, don’t expect to be charmed by the service or impressed by the culinary offerings.
