Visited this spot over the weekend with a friend who is vegetarian and she enjoyed everything we got. I highly recommend it!

Came here for a good friend's going away party. Warm, neighborly vibes. The staff made me feel at home.
The food is spectacular. If I lived closer I'd definitely be getting takeout here often.

I love the feeling of A good old-fashioned restaurant. I hate feeling like I got yesterday‘s food. My chicken sandwich was re-fried so many times that it was dry and crummy. I am very upset about the food will not be back. Thank you fat rabbit for nothing.

A place that we’ve always wanted to go. The whole experience was great. The interior and menu is so back in 80s and 90s. We had a quick breakfast and absolutely loved it. The staff there were super nice. This will be a great place for regulars to walk in and sit at the bar. Will come back!

Great atmosphere, but everything else was subpar. The deviled eggs were good however the caesar salad didn’t hit the mark and the fries tasted like they were frozen before.

chicken bites were so good which is why i put two stars for food. do not get the cauliflower. it’s really bland and the purée it comes with is like baby food. 0 seasoning and it’s cold? not sure why it’s on the menu

The drinks were OK. I ordered the same drink and probably different bartenders used different gins in it. First one was poor quality- I could taste the boozy cheap gin in a cocktail. The second one was much better. The food is good for American. Nothing crazy but not bad. The atmosphere is cute and service is good.

helpful and friendly hostess. food was solid, but a bit overpriced. our server was very friendly. however, we were surprised to see that after each of us had been asked “fries/salad/potatoes” when ordering our sandwiches, we’d actually been charged separately for these items, and paid an additional $5 per entree for what appeared to be standard included sides. while not end of the world, we did feel a bit deceived.

Great food and staff
Look I get it. People have to make money right? But these prices are insane. This place could be one of the best diners in Ft. Greene and could serve as an excellent third space. The food is great, but man spending close to $30 for black coffee and a patty melt that doesn't include fries is ridiculous. They should cut their prices by at least 25% or at least offer their meals with a side included. Just go to Mikes. This place feels like a pastiche of what a diner should taste/feel like.
