This is one of my favorite pizza spots and I’ve been ordering regularly for years. I don’t know who was cookin’ pies tonight but the quality was not consistent with the Fazio’s I’ve come to know and love. The crust was like a cracker instead of the sophisticated crusty bread it typically is and the pie both looked and tasted like someone knocked over a bunch of cheap dry herbs into the sauce – the McCormick explosion was the first thing I noticed when I opened the box. Whatever new direction is happening in the kitchen, I sincerely hope Fazio’s can course correct and return to the caliber that built its customer base.
Allow me to put it this way: I love putting people onto this place, locals and out of towners a like. If I had a guest from out of town (read: a place with an inferior standard of pizza) over tonight after talking up how this is a top New York slice and this is the pie I had to offer them, I’d be deeply ashamed as a New Yorker.

Really wanted to like this place.
“B” health code. Very hard, always burnt crust. Margarita sauce is forgettable. Garlic bread uses garlic from a jar. Lentil soup is so profoundly watery. Before you think I am critical, try these things for yourself. I was shocked at the terrible quality.
As for service, the workers are just so unfriendly. I understand customer service is no small feat, but these workers are not neutral, they just hate you.
I have decided to never again return.

Dairy-free / Vegan pizza slices available... then you can customize it and ask to add meat, veggies, or other things on it! Pretty solid, I miss it already :-(

I had a hankering for pizza one evening in Bushwick and this place popped up, and let me tell you this place does pizza right, large slices, great crust, amazing toppings. No frill or fancy slices like you see all over social media nowadays, just simple good pizza. Great neighborhood joint that I will be returning to at some point.

Great Sicilian pizzeria. Grandma pie/slice is one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything is made fresh with traditional recipes in mind. They have other slices that have a new take on the originals too, but they do the staples like Sicilian, Neapolitan, Grandma, etc. really well. Love this place. Santo the owner is a great guy. Don’t skip on the cannolis either. 🤌🏻
Love Fazio's! I learned the owner was the co-owner of a brick-oven pizza restaurant near where I grew up. Nice to see him serving more excellent pizza. The lemon icees from the Lemon Ice King of Corona Park are a must when you finish your slices.
