The food reminds me of coming here with my dad 35 years ago when he worked on the docks. Same place and the food straight from the streets of Sicily! Try the spleen. You’ll be in for a surprise.
Waiter was TOO friendly in the sense that I heard TOO much about him and his drinking habits - in response to our "just water " order as our drinksHe also shared that the kitchen made TOO much pasta for each of our orders. This is a real restaurant, forget about all the yuppies. Good Sicilian-American fare. If you need to pretend you’re in the Soprano’s, so be it. But for me, it’s authentic and refreshing and I will be back soon.
