If you’re craving authentic BBQ with personality, FatSauce is a must.
Tucked in a fun, buzzy Brooklyn neighborhood, this spot brings serious summer vibes with a touch of German beer hall charm. From the moment you step in, it’s an experience — everyone behind the counter knows their role: one slicing brisket, another plating up generous sides, someone pouring that dangerously good honey peach punch at the bar.
The beef brisket is incredibly meaty, each cut with its own texture and story. The pork ribs? Juicy and fall-off-the-bone tender. Even the bread is worth a shout-out — warm, fluffy, and perfect for mopping up sauce. Sides like slaw, mac, and pickles are spot on.
What makes it extra fun is the open, outdoor seating area — casual, lively, and full of energy.
And best of all? Prices are honest, portions are real, and the vibe is just good.
If BBQ is your thing, don’t miss this one! 🍗 🍖 🍹
Roll up the garage door and fire up the grill. Legit midwesterner bbq in Brooklyn. In the third bay of an auto body shop these kids can Q. Whiskey bar, tasty sides and communal indoor and outdoor seating. Holy hickory smokes, beef is alive and dead and consumed under this high wood beam roof.
This barbecue relaxed too much on the the natural flavoring of the meat. More than enhancing it through barbecuing and seasonings. While I would go back I wouldn't rush back.
Got the mac and cheese, brisket, ribs, and sausage. Sausage was decent, mac was dry, brisket and ribs were both dry and overcooked. Worst barbecue I’ve had at the worst price I’ve had. This is nothing more than gentrified hipster barbecue. Not worth it.
Delicious BBQ and cool vibes inside. Happy to have this in Brooklyn. Reasonable prices as well Thanks.
Had a quick dinner here a few weeks ago and it was okay. I have a somewhat high bar when it comes to BBQ, so I definitely am coming into a spot like this with implicit bias. But overall, everything was fine. Nothing to scream off a rooftop about, but also not something I felt was a waste of a meal. Good for a casual quick bites with friends, given that there is ample space and the service is easy.
Come in and have a good time! I love it!
Ngl the pork belly is a phenomenon. It’s indescribable. Perfect. I’ve never had such a perfect spice. Something that you might want to use as a moisturizer for your insides. Or even a salve for the soul. I feel like I might have just had a religious experience and this pork belly is my god.
LOOK… BEEN EATING HERE FOR 12+ YEARS, LOVE IS A LONG SLOW BEAUTIFUL BURN, JUST LIKE A PERFECTLY CURED SMOKED AND FINISHED BRISKET.
LOVE AT THE RIGHT TIME IS TO LIVE AND TO LIVE IS TO DREAM, BARK IN A SMOKED BRISKET IS THE THIN LINE BETWEEN A COLD DENSE CARCINOGENIC WORLD AND THE HEART OF THE PROCESS OF PATIENCE EXCELLENCE AND TIMING
THE BALANCE OF THE TWO IS THE TRUTH OF BALANCE, SACRIFICE AND A ART IN AND OF ITS SELF
SO WHY THE FUCK WAS THE BRISKET DRY… NO SOUL, NO LOVE, A PLAIN FACED LIE TO MY HEART MIND BODY AND MEMORY OF THIS HOUSE OF MEAT
THIS ESTABLISHMENT KNOWS BETTER HAS DONE BETTER AND DOSENT NEED MY OPINION
I JUST NEED A BITE OF JUCY BRISKET AGAIN…. PLEASE 🥲 TURN OFF THE HEAT LAMP,TENT THE MEAT, BASE IN THE JU… ANYTHING PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I JUST WANT JUICY BRISKET
THE BEANS WERE HELLA GOOD BABY
I went here on my first visit to America a few months ago and still think about the place daily. Truly, it was one of the best meals I've ever had and I will take its memory to the grave (maybe it'll even feature in my eulogy). Do not hesitate to go here. It is wonderful, truly wonderful.

Decent BBQ spot, slightly pricey. Beef brisket was delicious, burnt ends and smoked chicken thigh were standard. Half sour pickles and potato salad sides were lacking, and I think would have made this 5 stars if better. Water cups held about 2oz of water which was annoying as someone who likes to drink water and had to refill a bunch.

Lovely place with a laid-back vibe. Prices are reasonable ($15–18 for the meat, $5–7 for a side). The guys serving the meat were chill, but unfortunately, the older woman at the counter was not pleasant. She was impatient and rushed my friend into making a choice, even though there was no queue. Her bossy attitude was off-putting, we’re clients, not her staff.
Delicious bbq and very friendly staff. Wish I had those sausages!🥲

Absolutely loved our meal here! Relaxed atmosphere and fab food but make sure you arrive hungry as the portions were big! We didn’t have to wait long for a table which was a bonus given it was a Saturday night too!
