Frida is a small Dominican and Mexican restaurant with an intimate and great atmosphere. The space is very small but very mighty, and the hospitality makes up for it. The service is top notch, attentive, and welcoming. The staff is wonderful, happy, and polite.
The food is excellent and very good. Order anything birria here and you will not be disappointed. The guacamole and chips, chicken tacos, birria tacos, and the flavorful rice and beans are all especially good. The steak taco, shrimp tacos, birria empanadas, and appetizers like fry cheese, fry plantains, and salami are also excellent. Portions are right sized and the food comes out hot. The desserts are also divine.
The drinks are amazing and beautiful. The mixed cocktails are some of the best ever. The place is a bit pricey but it is worth it. The vibes from the music are lovely, though some Caribbean music is requested. It is a great spot for any group size, but definitely make a reservation. The bar area is great too. This place has exceeded expectations and is a new favorite spot.
