My wife and I came in pretty early, and Rupert was just getting open and set up. He said if we wanted breakfast, he’d fix us whatever we like, and he suggested a bacon or sausage, with egg and cheese on Kaiser, so we got one of each. Very tasty, and he also posed for a selfie with us and related some of his experiences with the Letterman show and how that came to me. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy and it was one of the highlights of our visit to see him.
