The food was nasty I spent over 21 dollars for a burnt beef patty & hard rice and peas it was either uncooked or burnt , the oxtails was ok i guess but never again it’s not like the old times

The experience here is okay, but the food is disgusting. I have no idea how people eat this food. I think it's because of the area. I ordwe from this place few times, and everytime I say I won't go back, I try again because I want to think it's a few off days. I have had them even return items because it was so nasty.But when I tell you the food is disgusting, this is no over exaggeration. Their dumplings taste like overnight over used dumplings that was sitting in water for hours. Thier stew peas is always nasty, and the kidney, oh lord, don't even attempt to buy this. The owner needs to really do something about this restaurant. Please Golden Krust, do better! Change the chef, do something. This review is coming from a good place. I live near the area, and I'm extremely disappointed with the food quality!

This golden krust is ok only for beef patties and even those are now tasting not fresh at all and the person at the register was rude and didn't seem to care either.The food use to be very good but the order I purchased was to salty and the peas and rice was very dry and the pieces of chicken they gave me was mostly nothing but bones with a very little bit of gravy!!??I paid good money for a poor dinner. I will go to the golden krust on utica ave from now on!!!

I have came to this specific establishment 4 times. I went in today around 2:30 pm for my usual which is the j*** chicken platter and my fiancé an oxtail platter, however the lady that took my order was very nasty she wasn't welcoming nor did she have a positive attitude for someone working in fast food. She got my orders wrong and when I asked to see them she acted like she didn't want to show me and that I was asking for too much, long story short she got my order wrong, I was willing to forgive an give them another try regardless to the last time I came when they messed it up but this time the lady was very nasty telling me I get whatever they have and I kindly told her I wanted my money back I'll take my money somewhere else. She didn't want to assist me, another lady came and gave me my money back. Ask yourself this question, Who wants to spend their hard earned money at a restaurant where people are very nasty and when they mess your order up take it out on you ? On top of that it's a Caribbean restaurant with Caribbean workers who look at people who arent from their culture differently when coming in to order, if seen it first hand. I don't go anywhere I'm not welcomed and I definitely will not spend money there. Customer service is a zero for me, however their food is really good. I would recommend for the great food, however if the workers can't interact and uphold a positive customer service experience for their customers then honestly I don't want it.

So I bought a chicken roti yesterday on Pitkin Ave. I paid $11 for high blood pressure. Listen, that roti was extremely salty. I am not exaggerating. I couldn't taste any flavor it was only salt. I tried at best to eat most of it, I guess I made out with about $6 worth cause the rest I had to throw out. It was a huge disappointment. Whoever that cook was that day don't need to make curry it's dangerous. Never again, I'll stick to pattis
