After a long day of travel, my friend and I stopped in to finally have dinner. The service was quick and friendly. We were served by one of the owners, who gave us really helpful recommendations. We got the okra chaat, which was delicious and the owner told us the story of how the recipe came about–involving her son and a rescued pet pigeon! Gourmet Palace was the host of a party we did recently and the venue was perfect. The dining area was clean and the staff were present and helpful. It was difficult not to stay and eat after the party! We hope to see you again soon!

we had a hankering for good Indian fare and our trip to Jalsa did not dissappoint. We were particularly happy to find Plantain Kofta on their menu - decades ago it seemed Banana Pakora was a standard choice at Indian restaurants but somehow they went out of "style"(?). So that alone made us happy. but coupled with the Nadru Malai Kofta and some Okra, Saag Aloo and Chicken Tikka Masala and we were in heaven.
