Delicious food, great coffee, wonderful service! I can't believe I've lived here for a year and just now tried this place. I'm about to be a regular!

Perfect neighborhood coffee + snack spot. Can’t wait to try the food, everything looks so good. Great coffee and very fast and friendly service. Love the clean design and ample outdoor seating.

Very easily could have had the best matcha of my life here, perfectly balanced. The chicken shawarma wrap was very good and satisfying and egg sandwich didn’t disappoint either. Overall Greenpoint is lucky to have a cafe that has such great quality. The cafe itself is quite small but there is some outdoor seating (for now). I will absolutely plan to make it back here in the future.
(UPDATED) - We went back to Greta and yet again the food and the drinks were of a high quality, how lucky you would be to live close to this place.

Fantastic quality, best coffee within miles. Unfortunately weird guests let their dogs sit on the bench. That is disgusting.

What a special
Discovery, first of all the owners take such a pride in the upkeeping, the place looks like finished a week ago, with plenty of care that shows in its details. I ordered a sandwich with their omelette. It showed up in a nit bag , toasted bread and an incredibly airy and fluffy omelet that was cooked to perfection. Well done Greta I ll be back!

Greta’s is a Greenpoint staple. It’s so high quality and delicious! Everyone I bring there loves it, too, and it’s the once place my parents request returning to when visiting from out of town. Their coffee bags have also become a favorite family gift around the holidays.

The owner is so hard working and clearly cares about the staff, food, and her customers. I was particularly moved when my dad complemented her on her quality of zaatar and she gave him a container of it to take away. I once also had a website glitch where the site accidentally placed two orders and she was easygoing about refunding me the extra order - customer service excellence in action.

Another thing I appreciate about Greta’s is the sense of community. Regulars can easily build relationships with the staff and I’ve always had positive conversations with new and old neighbors when sitting in the outdoor seating area.

Thank you Greta’s for all the great meals! Sad to be moving out of the neighborhood, but know I will be back for the excellent sandwiches, wraps, soups, eggs, and - of course - coffee.

nice coffee but the people behind the counter are rude and a little too pretentious for the service they provide. it wouldn't kill you to smile and say "please" or "thank you" every once in a while. i felt like i was being a little discriminated against and sorry for the tip i left.

I picked this spot for coffee yesterday because it had great reviews, but I really didn’t like the baristas here. First off, the barista didn’t understand me when I asked for a cappuccino. Then when they made our drinks, my latte was cold even though I asked for it to be extra hot. When I asked them to remake it, they were very rude. They tried to tell me it was not possible to make it hotter but I tasted both the latte and cappuccino but my latte was almost room temperature compared to the other drink. I really was surprised the baristas were so rude; when you’re paying so much for a coffee, the expectation is that they’ll fix your order if it is not done right. I have been trying hard to buy my coffees at local coffee shops rather than these big chains but this type of experience is why people go to chains that always remake your drink if it’s not right. Overall the service here is very sub par.

The BEST soup I've ever tasted (potatoes & leek! But the tortilla soup was just as wonderful). Coffee was delicious, cozy atmosphere and the staff is an absolute delight. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
