This place takes me back to my childhood. It has that classic, old school Italian pizzeria feel that’s so hard to find these days. The owner is a kind welcoming Italian man, and the pizza speaks for itself good and authentic. These days, a lot of pizza spots just don’t have that same traditional vibe, but this one definitely does. I come from Coney Island just to get a slice when I can. It’s worth the trip every time.

in my opinion probably the second best cheese slice in Brooklyn and I have went to all of them crust is crispier than Krispys Owner is very chill guy 11/10 service I like tennis and he likes tennis

I’m so excited to see I can order and have it delivered. Grotto Azure was my favorite slice of pizza when i moved to Brooklyn back in the 1990s I’m now back again and not happy w all the changes I’ve seen. Glad to see this place is still around! Looking forward to my order. I’m sure it’s just as I remembered it to me. 🇮🇹

The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine and have been at this location since 1987. They have several tables in the restaurant but no servers. Pizza, calzones, rolls, dinner plates, pasta, sandwiches, salads, appetizers and beverages are available. I ordered a plain cheese pizza pie. The pizza was fresh, well-prepared and had a nice crust. The chicken parmigiana hero was on a big Italian bread. Spaghetti and meatballs included a generous portion of pasta. Friendly and helpful staff.
Classic Brooklyn Italian red-sauce joint. Solid classic, run by the family that founded it. Neighborhood staple.

Years later and I still think about this place, I came here a few times in 2018 cause my wife is from the area and Im from FL so I had to try some pizza, this was my first and my favorite one, excellent pizza! And the owners are very nice aswell, if I ever visit again I will be stopping by 🤙
