Excellent service, great portions solid brunch spot in this neck of the woods.

It’s ok - a little stuffy and pricey for what it isThe inside is very warm, cozy and a good vibeUsually more of a sit down cocktail place vs standing room only

This was truly one of my most bizarre dining experiences. I met a friend for drinks on a Wednesday night at 7:30x She told the hostess she was only there for drinks, but they sat her at a table anyway. I ordered a soda water and bitters, they came by and asked about food and we said no. We had been there about 15 minutes and I was halfway through my drink when they came and asked my friend if she wanted another beer but did not ask me. She said not right now. They came back with the check without even asking if we wanted the check, after we had been there maybe 20 minutes tops and I hadn’t even been asked if I wanted another drink. Then they proceeded to come by 3 separate times to tell us they had another party. But we had only been there a total of 20 minutes???? And I hadn’t been asked about another drink and we hadn’t asked for the check they had just given it to us. I said this to the server and he got nasty with me and sent the bar back over to literally start spraying our table down while we were still sitting there. Don’t go here - aside from some of the absolute worst and most bizarre service I’ve experienced, the vibe was loud finance bro which was a bummer. :(

God I love this place. I travel all the way from long island to get my hands on a cocktail and the turkey leg sandwich. Also the bartenders are the nicest and realist people you’ll meet. Always a good chill vibe here.

I’d like to say the burger was amazing but it wasn’t. It was good but nothing special. The fries were over salted. I think this place probably has a lot really cool regulars and you could meet some very nice people here.

Such a disappointment to have to finally report one of our neighborhood places to the ADA for disability discrimination after being denied with our service dog on several occasions. The hospitality has always been lacking nonetheless.

I liked the atmosphere and the food was good, but I can't excuse the incredibly rude and aggressive hostess and waitress last night. Upon walking in my friend and I waited for 5 min at the hostess stand where we weren't acknowledged. We decided to walk in and ask if there was a free table. The host said in a very passive aggressive tone "Honey do you see that stand next to the door, follow the instructions on the stand" (the stand had a note that read "please wait to be seated" which was blocked by a curtain). When we walked over to the stand she followed us and when we turned around she abruptly said "Hi sweetie we can seat you now would you like this table" (the small drink table next to the door). We declined and said we were here for dinner. She didn't offer recourse so we said we would eat at the bar. A table opened in the back later and we asked her if we could sit there instead and she agreed.Once we were seated it took 30 min for her and the waitress to take our order. We had to wave several times and it seemed as if they were ignoring us. When ordered and the food came the appetizers and entrees came out all at once. My friend also dropped his fork and asked for a new one. She snatched it out of his hand and shoved and new one in his face without looking at him.Later on I ordered a new drink, which took 30 min to get tot the table. The table was obviously transferred from the waitress to a much more polite waiter, who took my drink order again and had my drink on the table in 5 min. The waitress came over with my whiskey sour that I had previously ordered (now 45min ago) and realized I already had one. I told her I already had mine but before I could tell her it was ok and that Id take it anyway she said "So did either of you order drink at the bar and from me?!" in a very aggressive and rude tone. I said "yes" and before I could say anymore she spun around and stormed off in a huff. I said as she was leaving that Id accept it and she ignored me and poured it out.Upon leaving the waiter comped us free drinks (thank you). I said thank you to both the rude hostess and waitress who seemed busy at the host stand - they ignored our presence.Hands down they had the worst tone, anger, and lack of hospitality Ive experienced from waitstaff in my life.

We sat at the bar for food and drinks. Our bartender was attentive, great at making drinks, and was friendly. The food was a bit overpriced. I usually don’t drink alcohol but the “two cents fancy” was my cup of tea (or rather, alcohol); it was carbonated, slightly sweet, and not bitter. My partner had two other drinks that he enjoyed. We got the cheese sandwich, bone marrow toast, and the Wilkinson for dessert. The cheese sandwich came with fries and had sharp cheese and apple slices in it. The bone marrow toast came with a mix of parsley and shallots. The bone marrow wasn’t as flavorful as I was expecting, but the shallot mix helped give the flavor boost it needed. The Wilkinson was a dessert consisting of fried balls of dough that came with a rum-caramel sauce that should have came with a warning about how hot the sauce was. Besides burning my tongue, it was good (though I’ve had better fritters before). The oysters were my favorite part of the night - not too salty, but with three different stages of flavors, starting with a mild note, transitioning to a more savory taste, ending with a seafoody flavor.

This is a favorite spot- mainly for lusty east coast atmosphere. Also for martinis, burger is sexy, but expensive. The dessert is better. Very transfixing atmosphere. It’s everything you thought the east coast would be.
