Great casual dinner spot with wonderful staff and good food. I have food allergies (gluten and dairy) which they do well to accommodate. I have never gotten sick here. I would highly recommend this place!

Ho brah has been one of my Go-To spots for tacos and margaritas for years now. Ho brahs drinks and food have never disappointed me and I’m proud to say I’m a loyal customer. I’ve had many tacos in the city and it’s very hard to compare to Ho brah

Friendly service. Excellent food. Familiar with the Forest Avenue location on Staten Island. The Korean BBQ tacos are delicious and consistent with the ones on SI. The churros are fresh and delicious too. Worth the visit!
Friendly neighborhood spot for great drinks and tasty food.

Great taco joint and have eaten there many times. Never disappointed. Tacos are top notch as is the service. Consuela's pork empanadas are delish, actually all their empanadas are delish. They make a mean Margarita as well. Kid friendly since they have a children's menu. A small place and fills up quickly so keep that in mind if you are thinking about going there. Also keep in mind it has a bar right next to many of the tables and it can get loud. This is mostly after 6pm, lunch and anywhere up to 4pm it is fairly quiet with no wait for a table. Not a pure Mexican style restaurant, but more of California style. Menu is varied and very reasonably priced.

Ordered from this restaurant a little over a month ago and they hit it out the park! Tonight the kitchen staff must be different as we received deep fried Birria Tacos and Burnt Quesadilla with very little portions of meat, To top it all off our drinks weren’t delivered. Hoping this changes when dining in, but definitely avoiding ordering take out.
The place was nice good music and decent service. The tacos….gave me the worst heartburn. The lime braised chicken was dry the tacos were rubbery. The best thing on the menu was the kids fries. Had a bottle beer which I would never order again. I would have a better taco from the food truck by salty dogs

I went here twice in one week, one for a Mother’s Day dinner (husband surprised me) and one happened to be a planned lunch date with a friend. I went in on Mother’s Day for the first time and we went with our baby, the servers all made sure to wish me a happy Mother’s Day which I greatly appreciated. The food was great, the best thing was the nachos so be sure to get their nachos! We almost wish we hadn’t ordered tacos and only got the nachos because they were so filling. The food came out pretty quickly and multiple servers asked us how everything was.I went again after Mother’s Day on a Tuesday. I found out it was taco Tuesday so buy two and get a third free. We ordered nachos and then decided to get three tacos (one each and then split the third). The server was kind enough to have the third taco split in half for us instead of telling us we couldn’t get the promo which most places probably would’ve done. We both went with our babies but I had my stroller, the one negative I would say is that there isn’t a lot of space to have the stroller out and allow people/staff to walk past so the server kindly folded the stroller for me and put it in the back. Overall, I had a great experience both times and will definitely be back.

It’s such an unfortunate moment. I got off from work and been wanting to stop by this location for a minute. I went in around 4:40 pm and decided to sit at bar for a drink and tacos. I read the reviews and was looking forward to it. The bartender was busy and didn’t greet me. Cool. Understandable. He is making his drinks for the table. I get it. He continues to make his drinks and I see him looking at me and looked away. He didn’t say anything or provide a “hey how you doing?.” After I see him done making his drinks, we made eye contact so I thought I can order something. Nope. He took out his phone and start texting. That’s when I got my stuff and left. It’s crazy because he wasn’t busy enough to not see me and that’s the upsetting part. It’s unfortunate because I was eager to try the food. Guess I won’t ever.

Food & cocktails were very good - had the classic Cali fish tacos, blackened" mahi mahi " seared tacos ? & the Cabo fish tacos, also the pork empanada, loco frites & the Ho Brah house salad ? - I suggest the avocado ? ranch dressing ( only disappointment was the long wait - but everything was very fresh ) The frozen cucumber ? margerita was delicious- so was the fresh squeezed lemonade & the blueberry margerita ( NOT from a mix - all very fresh & delicious ? ) Another disappointment is I couldn't try the churros or the Tres leches desserts because they were out of them ( oh well, I'll have to go back another time to try them )The other " disappointment " is the place is very small ( wish they would consider expanding to the corner location where the middle eastern kebab place used to be or where lobo loco used to be- if they are available) I know you don't go to a bar or restaurant for their bathroom, however, as a woman whose pet peeve is a bathroom with low lighting, it was practically being in the dark. Overall, fun, local " Mexican " place ( oh, almost forgot, our server Simone was very nice - it seemed at 1st she was not in a very good mood, but then was sweet & friendly)
Parking: Seriously, are you kidding - this is 3 rd Avenue, Bay Ridge Brooklyn ( meter parking M - Sat until 7 pm Sun - free ) again if you can find a spot ( bus is on the corner )
