Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. We waited an hour just to get upstairs, then another full hour before our food finally arrived. The only explanation we kept getting was that the kitchen was “backed up.” Waiting 2 hours to be served is unacceptable, especially for the prices they charge.

To make matters worse, the bathroom was filthy, the food was mediocre at best, and the total bill came out to nearly $200. Definitely not worth the money or the frustration. Unfortunately, this place seriously needs improvements in cleanliness, service, and overall management before I’d ever consider coming back. I felt bad for the worker he seemed over worked and kept apologizing.

this place is so bad😭😭😭 expensive and sauce is literally just butter that doesn’t even coat the seafood at all. Just go to The boil or any other seafood boil location, it’ll be much more worth your time+money… Also the lady at the front clocked out and forgot to give us our change 😹

Dont get confused between the kpot and hook and reel signs outside this spot rather its combination of the two and both are serviced inside depending on the crowd inside the service was impeccable this was my first time to a seafood boil and i had fun. Its was spice and the catch of seafood was great amounts. We had soju along with it too which was great. The music and the environment was fun wil definitely come here 🎉 #FirstTime #SeafoodBoil #ImpeccableService #GreatCatch #SojuParty #FunEnvironment #DefinitelyComeHere

I recently visited this Korean restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
I came in hungry and unfamiliar with the menu, but at first, a female staff member was polite and tried to help. She explained that lunch had ended and dinner was available for about $39.95, which I agreed to.
However, the experience quickly went downhill. I was initially told I could choose where to sit, but then I was moved away from the window to the back without a clear reason.
When it came time to order, a staff member (possibly named Michael) brought me a tablet and told me to order myself. I explained that I didn’t understand the system and asked for help, but he seemed annoyed and was not helpful at all.
I ordered a soup and ramen, and added extra steak and chicken for an additional charge. The portion of meat was extremely small — far below expectations for the price. I also clearly mentioned that I do not eat pork.
The food itself was overwhelmingly spicy — so much that I couldn’t finish it. When I asked for help or adjustment, I only received a quick “sorry,” but nothing was actually done.
To make things worse, the bill was brought to me without me asking for it, while I was still trying to eat. When I finally went to pay, I was directly pressured to leave a tip, which felt very uncomfortable considering the poor service and the fact that I left still hungry.
Overall, I left the restaurant dissatisfied, still hungry, and disappointed with both the service and the value for money. I would not recommend this place, especially for first-time visitors. There are definitely better options where you can get proper service and a complete dining experience.

Me and my children visited Coney Island over for the past Easter Sunday. My daughter suggested she wanted streamed oysters for takeout once we arrived home and sit down to eat
the smell hit us - not the briny, fresh scent of Oysters, but a putrid, ammonia-like stench that made my stomach turn.

The streamed Oyster meat inside was brown mushy, gray, and had that telltale fishy smell of seafood that's been sitting around for days. It was trenched in unbelievable amount of garlic and butter I guess I was to mask the smell and appearance.

First off they stopped serving all you can eat totally now last year it was only summer time they stopped and it’s only march and now they say they don’t serve it at all no more. Also we order appetizers to start with and they come out same time as our food then to top it off the crab legs were over cooked clams as well just very bad experience this time around I think it is getting worse at this one how come all other hook and reel serve all you can eat but not here and they are more pricey here then others

My family went to this seafood restaurant today, and I really loved the food. The crab legs and shrimp were very good, and I would definitely come back again for the food.

However, I felt a little uncomfortable with the service. We went up to the second floor and had just sat down when the waiter immediately came over and asked if we were ready to order. We said we needed some time to look at the menu, but within the next five minutes, he came back about three times asking the same question. We were honestly a bit surprised because we just wanted some time to look through the menu and decide.

After we ordered the mini boil, another staff member brought out the food and left, but there were no gloves or utensils on the table. We were confused about how to eat the seafood until another waitress later brought us gloves.

While we were eating, the same waiter kept coming back every five minutes to ask if everything was okay. I understand he was trying to be attentive, but it felt too frequent and a bit overwhelming. I couldn’t even have a normal conversation with my husband.

We felt like the waiter was trying to rush us out of the restaurant. The last time he came to our table, my husband even had to say that we would only stay for another 10 minutes, and then he left. We actually wanted to order more food, but the service was so poor that we decided to leave instead.

LOVE

Terrible experience . The elevator is out which is super inconsiderate for disabled patrons since the bathroom is upstairs and no one tells you until you ask !! . I asked to sit someone in the corner because I had a small child .. No one told me about the happy hour menu but when I asked to speak to a manager to get access to the menu he straight up refused and told me he would put me near the bar .. the tables near the bar was extremely tight and posed a safety hazard to my baby as well as the people sitting at the bar. I asked for the manager again and the guy refused again . I left without getting anything because Why am I being denied when I ask to speak to management ? .. I don't think I will ever waste my time trying this place again just because this poor service .
