Best kosher Shawarma I’ve had outside of Israel, even though kosher shawarma outside of Israel is decent. This place stands out, fantastic quality, popping flavors, tender enough, doesn’t fall apart. Definitely hits the spot and leaves me with a little dance and a “that was sick”, but of course doesn’t follow me into my dreams as an Israeli shawarma would. We picked up two beef and lamb shawarma pitas and they were unbelievable. Pretty expensive for shawarma, but you get your moneys worth — the pita was filled to the brim with a ton of meat. Delicious.
I haven’t tried a sabich like this in a long time in New York. Unmatched with Taim. Everything from the ingredients including the pita bread and dips/sauces tastes fresh and delicious, not dried or burnt to the crisp at all.
