Great dinner! The butternut squash pasta dish is not one to miss, and the brussel sprout salad is light and refreshing. Honestly don’t think you can go wrong.

I finally returned for the first time in over ten years, and Il Passatorehas maintained its high quality and modest prices. Hope to return again sooner than in ten years. I dine at some of the best Italian spots in Brooklyn, including Lilia and Michaels of Brooklyn, but this place, in its own way, can hold its own.

Great spot for a romantic dinner in a cozy, welcoming space. Service was 5/5 excellent- friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Really went above and beyond to make the night a special one.I got the artichoke hearts app and gnocchi entree- both delicious. I have a major sweet tooth and the panna cotta was so good! So good. I almost ordered a second one while finishing my americano but thankfully stopped myself.Prices are reasonable and contrary to what some other reviews say they do take cc payments.Glad to have discovered this gem of a restaurant. Can’t wait to try the other pasta on the menu!

We are Italians and rarely (if ever) go out to eat Italian food in NYC, as we have been bitterly disappointed several times in the past. Last night, however, we decided to try Il Passatore, and we are so happy we did! The food is absolutely delicious, truly authentic Italian food with all the right flavors and ingredients, and not one single thing to criticize. We tried several appetizers - artichokes, crocchette, burrata (unbelievably good!) – and “primi piatti”, including the strozzapreti with porcini mushrooms and salsiccia and one of their specials, tagliatelle with wyagu beef ragu. Every single dish was delicious, the homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, not too soft or too crunchy, and we found the strozzapreti with their balance of different flavors and the perfect texture of the pasta truly superb. The lemon gelato, which too often tastes like dish soap, was excellent as well, and the wine (a Rosato della casa) was really enjoyable. The staff is fantastic, they were taking good care of us giving suggestions as to what we should try, always with a smile on their faces. Overall the atmosphere was great: warm, welcoming and relaxed. We had a wonderful experience, we are definitely going back... tonight!! :)

The appetizers were amazing, but almost all of us were disappointed in our entrée sadly. Maybe because it was a Saturday night and they were rushed but my steak was really chewy, and almost all of the pasta seemed under seasoned.. i’ve been before, and loved

I have a theater nearby, and I always pressure my casts into going to Il Passatore after we close a show. I loooove the food here, and the ambiance was lovely! We were actually very silly and walked in on Valentine's Day without a reservation (our show closed that night and we weren't thinking ahead), and they were packed up but still found seats for us at the bar and were super lovely with us the entire time we were there.

Delicious food and excellent service! We got the butternut ravioli, spicy ravioli, ragu, and truffle ravioli (a daily special). The truffle and butternut were exceptional. We also had a few bottles of wine based off of the servers recommendation that were delicious. And the tiramisu was very good. I'd come here for pasta (especially the ravioli or daily special ravioli) any time I could.

Delicious, authentic, lovely atmosphere and great service. Pasta made fresh daily. We had the full bodied, earthy 2018 Montefalco, the pistachio crusted artichoke appetizer (GET IT), the butternut squash pasta and vegetarian gnocchi. Perfect dinner.

It’s no fun for me to write a bad review, especially since the service here was great and the staff were very nice! We saw the red flags as we were walking in - the nearly empty restaurant and B rating on the window - but proceeded inside anyways. The prices are very reasonable and so we ordered many things, all of them below average. The two fresh raviolis we got tasted like store bought frozen items, with one of the sauces literally just a smattering of tomatoes paste … very strange and so sad.I always wonder to myself how places like this get 4+ star ratings on Google, but then again, so do places like Olive Garden in Times Square.

Excellent restaurant discovered via Google Map.The welcome is warm and the staff attentive. The pasta is fresh and delicious and what can we say about the Tiramisu, if not delicious.A restaurant to know, especially since the prices are very reasonable.
