Jamaican me happy! Came all the way from Cali to NYC on family trip. I googled this place and was excited to try them. Location was great it’s right on the corner of a main st. Parking was easy but hey it’s NYC so double park if you feel like it. This picture was just my food which was the oxtails DELICIOUS and SO TENDER! It was cooked to perfection and had so much seasoning and the gravy was yum yum. The plantains were sweet and good as well. I also got a side of yellow cake...

I just happened to be in this corner of Brooklyn for a customer meeting and had a hankering for some Caribbean food. This place exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent! Curry goat was flavorful and spicy, rice and peas perfect, plantains amazing and the pickled cabbage wonderful. Excellent price point for no frills take-out. Staff was warm and friendly with the Caribbean hospitality I would expect. This is definitely a new favorite when I pass through the neighborhood.
