Took me back to when my godmother used to cook for me.. My son had the griot and I had the Poullet creol (stewed chicken). My son ate his food and some of mine. All I heard while I was eating was Tabou Combo and Skah Shah in my head. The food is authentic and super delicious. I wanted to get some Legume cause it looked so good but the plates we had were already more than we could handle... Oooh it was so good!!!!
This is a hard one to break down. Pros: 1. Love the food (black rice on Sunday is the best!) 2. It's in the old neighborhood near the H.S. lots of parking 3. Good Haitian food in the hood. Nice size plates and the food is cooked fresh while you wait. I ordered a griot fritay plate which was $10. Which is a pretty good deal for the amount of food. It comes with gravy and the smallest thing of pickliz lol. But it was good to pour onto the pork. I really enjoyed this meal.
