Came here for happy hour and started with a $3 can of beer which I went to the bar to order. Didn’t tip immediately as we’re from the UK and we tip at the end of service but the bartender rudely mentioned that he was basically working for free if we didn’t tip. We understand the tipping culture in America and if he had relaxed about the fact I didn’t tip him for opening a can of beer, he would have ended up with a nice tip at the end after we ordered cocktails and experienced some actual service. It’s not the customers fault if your employer doesn’t pay you but taking it out on them is a sure way to end up with nothing.

I was there last Saturday and the DJ was amazing. The music, the energy, the vibe… everything was next level not something you find easily in Brooklyn. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a different kind of night out, with great vibes and an excellent music selection. I’m definitely coming back!

Deeeelish cocktails for starters. But have to say I’ll absolutely be back for the staff alone! Soo friendly and make a GREAT drink. Also a DJ was in who was speaking to my younger self LOL all around a super fun spot for a catch up or a lil grooving!

Izzy Rose is a hidden gem in Clinton Hill! Best time that I’ve found to go is Saturday afternoons. Most importantly for the winter months, this place has a really good hot drink menu ranging from cocktails with mezcal and a delicious oat milk rye drink. Feels very safe with a super cute open air outdoor space and social distancing. Can’t recommend this place enough with a big shout out to the best bartender Miss Roxy!!
