I like the chocolate, imagine my surprise when a staff member yelled at me āyou have 5mins!ā As I entered the shop. Someone nice it was close to closing So rude. The chocolate isnāt that good
Unlike his original chocolate shop in Dumbo over 20 years ago, there isnāt a chocolate factory on site. However, the chocolate is just as delicious as I remember it! So many offerings, truffles, gelato and their delicious big chewy cookies! Not many cold drink options, just water and hand crafted coffees and milkshakes. You can even buy the mixes to take home or hot chocolate mix.
We had a nice break after walking the Brooklyn flea on a Saturday afternoon.

I only ordered a chocolate chip cookie, but it was very good. Not overly sweet, very soft but light crispness at the edges. Chocolate was very rich. AC was broken when we visited, but the staff still made everything work and served us quickly. The truffle I sampled from my friendās box was very rich and smooth. Recommended.

Went in today looking for a friendās birthday gift. The staff kindly showed me various options until I found the right one. The chocolate & baked goods here are delicious and the employees make it even sweeter. Thank you!
Jahlasia that helped us was super helpful! Everything we ate (classic chocolate, snowball, chocolate chip cooky, and sorbet) was really good and tasted like real chocolate! Perfect for a summer cold drink or a winter warm drink.
