My friend and I stumbled on this place while trying to find a place to watch the Egypt FIFA game and we LOVED every second of our experience! From the host Caleb being so welcoming, to Carlos (our server) being so attentive, and Shea making sure we had a perfect time we haven’t had such a wonderful experience in so long.
LOVE gair!! had the best experience this weekend. some of the best cocktails I've had in brooklyn, and the service was outstanding. Ben, Cece and Sabine were so lovely - kind, fun, and amazing at what they do! can't wait to come back.
Gair always has the most wonderful atmosphere in Dumbo, and I love bringing everyone here whenever I visit the city. Whether it’s world cup weekend & we’re enjoying the game on the projector, or it’s a chill weekend in Brooklyn & we’re catching up while debating how to make our own comeback sauce, everyone always has fun when I bring them here!

Gair is a highly recommended spot by the DUMBO waterfront, known for its excellent service and top notch food. The space is beautiful, with impressive DUMBO views and architectural details. It works well for groups, making it a great spot for a birthday or small group celebration.
The food is a hit. For brunch, the shakshuka, burger, and pancakes are fantastic. Starters like the guacamole, fish and shallot dips, and olives are delicious and easy to share. The burgers and fries and lava cake are also out of this world. The bar serves excellent drinks, with favorites including the Peruvian Sour, Cosmo Verde, and the Bangkok cocktail. The bartenders are experts and precise in their craft.
The staff is super friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond. They handle logistics smoothly and create a pleasant atmosphere with good vibes. The atmosphere is clean, intentional, bright, and positive. It is a welcoming place, even for pups. The location is great, just one step away from the Brooklyn Bridge viewing area. The experience at Gair is thoughtful, well run, and genuinely supportive. It is a favorite bar where guests often stay until close, having a wonderful time.
