$1.50 for a slice with inflation, but this is still the cheapest slice in town. Obviously there isn't seating inside, but Downtown Brooklyn has entire streets converted to outdoor seating nearby. Two slices and a drink is less than $5. I suggest bringing cash since card purchases under $5 get a 50¢ surcharge. One of the best crusts I've had on a pizza, and normally I don't notice the crust.
Today is 6/10/25 we bought about 3-5 slices and I’ve never instantly regretted getting food in my life. The slices had to have been sitting there because the back end was burnt. Like in one spot. The cheese tasted like paper and the crust felt like cardboard. Idk if it’s inflation or the times but $1.50 used to carry you further just saying
I recently visited Jay St. Fresh 99¢ Pizza, and while the pizza was great, I was a bit disappointed by the price. The name of this place is quite misleading, as a slice is now $1.50, not the advertised 99¢. Thankfully, I checked the reviews beforehand and brought enough money from my car, but it’s something to be aware of.
That said, the pizza itself was delicious, just as I expected. It definitely lived up to the quality I was hoping for.
