MUST GO. It was my first time there today - loved it. I got the ham and cheese croissant, which was amazing. Lots of fun & creative pastries I’m excited to try as well as classics. I will be back (probably tomorrow lol)
So cute! The staff are very friendly and helpful. My vanilla almond milk latte was chef's kiss. Also tried the oxtail crossaint and the crossaint cruffin were both tasty. The lemon curd inside of the cruffin had the right amount of tartness. Paired well with the fluffy meringue. Will return!

I got the chocolate croissant and wow this was delicious!! Perfect ratio of chocolate and sweetness without being overwhelming. Love supporting a black women owned fantastic bakery. Hoping to try the savory options next time.
Went back and got some more. Special shoutout to the turkey sausage roll. I’m amazed
10/10 no notes

Being spiritually intuned (you can feel bad energy in any atmosphere) I wish I wouldn't have spent my money here honestly... Got my order wrong & the energy carried in that beautiful space is terrible!!! Overpriced for stale coffee & pastries🥴🥴

Ok folks, I have no idea what the name of what I just was (some fruit tart looking thing), but it was hands down the best pastry I have ever had. Beats any Cronut. People need to come through and support this neighborhood bakery!

One of the best bakeries in Brooklyn, dare I say New York. Pastries are amazing and the owner is so humble and down to earth. Definitely at the top of my list for baked goods

Incredible service! I had the oxtail croissant. Would recommend having it warmed up though! Loved it so much! Great iced cappuccino as well :)
This place and owner has a beautiful mission and story to make high end foods accessible! I’d be so happy if you added a vegan option so I could come support more often :)

I honestly wish the business owner success with this bakery. I don’t usually write reviews but there are a few things that were quite disappointing and I couldn’t stay quiet. I came in the morning, on a Friday, there were 2 others ahead of me and a gentleman wished to purchase 3 oxtail pastries but he was denied and told he could only buy 2 ??? But there were several pastries available in the display window. The business model behind this was baffling.
Secondly, a woman asked what “kind of cupcakes” were displayed on the tray and when the cashier asked the owner behind him her response was “it’s a cupcake!” This was upsetting to me because the customer just wanted to know what kind of cupcake it was, perhaps they had an allergy or they simply wanted to know the flavor??? Just unprofessional.
Also, the cashier was having difficulty taking orders in the first the place because the music was so loud and they clearly stated “I am sorry I cannot hear you, I am having trouble” This just delayed the overall process of putting orders through every single time. Not to mention the loud singing coming from the owner herself which came across……a bit…..obnoxious.
Once the owner finally realized that the line was getting a bit long (there were 5 others behind me) and the cashier was having trouble, she came to the front and asked me what I would like, very stern and short, without a greeting. I told her her my order and she quickly put my croissants in a loose bag handing them to the cashier.
Overall I didn’t like the owners behavior because it was vastly different from what I saw on a review on YouTube. It was the reason why I came to the bakery in the first place, to support local black owned businesses in Bed Stuy. Unfortunately in person, the professional demeanor just wasn’t there. You can have a good croissant, a couple of strawberries on top, some great ideas for pastries, BUT an unprofessional demeanor and ambiance makes people feel uncomfortable and think twice about coming back.
