Pastries here are just OK and the coffee is overpriced for a basically undrinkable beverage...Also seconding what other reviewers have noted about the subpar service here. Won't be returning

Unfortunately, my recent visit was met with a rather unwelcoming and unpleasant demeanor from the owner. Both my mother and I found her attitude to be quite rude and distant throughout our time there. A short time later, a different customer entered the bakery, and I was taken aback by the stark contrast in the owner's behavior. She was suddenly cheerful and very friendly to the new customer, which made her previous attitude even more disappointing. While I understand that everyone has off days, the level of rudeness we experienced was unprofessional and created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Given this experience, I will not be returning to this establishment.
One of the best bakeries in BK. and black owned. Try everything!

This bakery is such a gem! Service was quick, and there’s plenty to choose from. The staff was friendly, and the space itself is beautifully decorated with super organized books you can sit and read while enjoying your treats. They also offer coffee, tea, and other drinks, which makes it a perfect spot to relax. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s absolutely worth the visit. I came all the way from the Bronx with my family, and we tried the ham & cheese croissant, focaccia, and raspberry pistachio croissant. everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I can’t wait to come back!

Hit or miss. The savory pastries aren’t worth it. Sausage in the sausage roll is way too sweet; like it’s rolled in sugar. And the ham and cheese croissant had almost no filling. Croissant itself was good though. They had a biscuit sandwich that I wanted to love, but was mid. The biscuit was dry and not very flavorful. I had an amazing brownie there, but it came off their seasonal menu and I was disappointed I couldn’t get it the next time I went. The cinnamon roll was great too; prob also seasonal. I might go back if I was walking past; wouldn’t go out of my way tho.
Pastries are good. You never know what will be available. The menu changes and everything is made in-house. I love their caramel oatmilk latte.

I’ve been wanting to try out this bakery for quite some time now, but due to my schedule, I kept missing their hours of operation. Recently, I finally got a chance to visit. Since it was my first time, I took my time looking over the pastry selection and asked a question or two. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter responded in a way that made me feel as though I was being annoying or that my questions were silly.(Mind you I just asked if they will be making anymore of a particular pastry I seen advertised on their website.)
I brushed it off and went ahead with my order—though I felt rushed, despite being the only customer in line and the bakery being nearly empty. I initially thought maybe the staff member( tall , light skin ,short hair woman ) was just having an off day, so I tried to lighten the mood and engage with the owner, who was seated behind the counter. Based on the owners social media presence, I expected someone warm and welcoming, but that day, she seemed disengaged and cold. There was no greeting, no smile—just a blank expression, even when I tried to spark a bit of conversation.
On a positive note, the bakery is beautifully decorated and the pastries were delicious. Still, I left feeling disappointed by the overall customer service experience, especially since I had such high expectations from what I’d seen online.
This isn’t meant to come off as negative—just an honest account of my visit. I truly hope the owner receives this as constructive feedback. I’d love to see this bakery continue to grow and succeed, and I’d hate for poor customer service to be the reason it falls short.

7 dollar cold brew with milk that I ordered was 90% milk and the pastry I ordered was not good. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Friendly service, lovely decor and the best darn danish I've had in all my decades of living. I will definitely be back. The only detractors for me include the small seating space and even smaller portion size of the pastries.
Super cute bakery with delicious patries. The staff are welcoming and there seems to be a different selection of treats every time I go in.
The best chocolate croissants I have ever indulged in as a person that isn't big on chocolate.
Staff did not seem that excited to be there. Saw video on owner and was excited to support black business but of course the attitude in the video did not transition to real life. Very limited pastries when I went on a late Sunday morning
My biggest dilemma- sweet or savory?
