Overall quite a disappointing experience. The wine list is great with a wide selection from all over. The food sounded very appetising but when it arrived it was less than appetising. The “pomme purée” was lumpy and the mushroom jus was watery, under seasoned chicken and squash so undercooked that half of it was solid. The service started out great but sadly our server was so busy with other tables that our mains arrived before our starters were cleared which was a shame because we planned to order another starter

I've only recently discovered this spot and find it just absolutely perfect in every way. The place is dripping in atmosphere- such a cozy little spot and I'd imagine it'll be even better on a cold night. Natural wines- sampled all the reds last night- yes-- if it's not too busy, they'll entertain you with samplings. I had the chicken thigh with mashed potatoes. Savory and delicious. My friend had the burger and as she lives nearby, said she'll absolutely be returning for that.

I came here prior to my dinner reservation and got the beet salad which was truly amazing. The bartender and waiter were very kind, and although I got there at 6:55 I was able to get a drink on happy hour (until 7pm) and had their spritz of the day. I would come back for a full meal.

Great little wine bar with small plates and a decent selection of bottles that can tide you over for a couple of hours. Staff are extremely nice, though a couple of them seem constipated and smug, but there is a decent turnover rate so you can forget them by the next visit.

Haven't been here in years and it was even better than I remembered. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and our waiter/bartender John was fantastic. He helped picked out an awesome bottle of Burgundy, recommended some excellent dishes and a great amaro. His knowledge of both the wine and the menu were so appreciated and we will definitely come here again because of him!

Super nice main course! The bread seemed like it had been super nice at one point but the 4 slices we got ranged from sort of fresh to rock hard stale. Only complaint though :) but might be worth looking into!

Will visit later for a full dining experience, but bar was excellent. The selections were great and im excited for full meal because I loved their snack trio and bread and butter. Loved a surprise of cherries with olives. Very lovely.

This place seems sadly typical of many NYC restaurants lately
High prices, small portions, uninspiring menu. Then put that all in a space that has no acoustic treatment so you can barely hear the person you’re with even across the tiny table. The selection for wines by the glass is paltry and the pours are small. The selection of bottles is fine but if I were to drink a whole bottle here I'd probably have hearing loss by the time I finished it. I don't understand how the staff put up with conditions like this night after night
