Regrettably, the chicken was dry, and the sides were utterly disappointing. To be candid, my local Kennedy’s Chicken serves better chicken. However, they are a friendly establishment.

So I just looked at all the reviews and as a long time patron of this establishment wanted to leave my thoughts.I've been buying food from Katie o's maybe 5 or more years.If you have never been here go in person ,albeit the lines are crazier now ,I guess they went viral.But traditionally your first time here you get to sample different items.I don't like everything on the menu and that's not because something is not good but it may not be prepared how I like it.What I do recommend is the stuff cornbread,pork chops ,fish is pretty good here,the desserts I've had but are not for me personally.But there has always been a wait for your food ,I believe it's because most of the stuff is coming out fresh.The lines are crazy but I support them because they give back alot.But to Katie O's one thing you guys should never lose is your quality try to keep your standards.And the food is expensive but it seems that's the standard price for most restaurants nowadays with rent and ingredient cost going up.

I finally made it to Katie O’s Soul Food, and everything I ordered was amazing. I had two pieces of fried catfish — crispy, seasoned perfectly, and fried just right.
My sides were all full of flavor and tasted homemade. My plate had: • Fried catfish • Candied yams • Collard greens • Mac & cheese • Potato salad • Cornbread
For dessert, I had their banana pudding, and it was absolutely delicious. I washed everything down with a strawberry lemonade that was refreshing and sweet.
When I say I came home, made my plate, ate, took a shower, and went straight to sleep? That’s how you know the food was GOOD — seasoned to perfection, fresh, and made with love.
To make the experience even sweeter, I later found out the owner is actually my good friend’s niece. The hospitality and courtesy were on point from the moment I walked in.
Everything was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

There Food is Extremely Extremely Salty. Not everyone uses a bucket of SALT. I called back and complained the girl tells me everyone has their own Taste buds. Salty food is Not a taste bud it's a choice.
