Came here with some homies. I knew right away this was not going to be good, im chinese american born raised nyc, rule of thumb, go to chinatowns to eat chinese food.
First when we all asked for a bowl
So we can eat rice with chopsticks they said they do not have bowls…. In chinese culture if you are using chopsticks and they give you rice, it comes in a bowl, otherwise you get a fork or spoon.
Already a fail to the authenticity of chinese food.
Second we ordered kung pao
Chicken for $24, there was barely any chicken, complete ripoff.
Third we got the dandan noodles that were way too salty.
When we mentioned to waiter that the kung pao chicken lacked chicken, he laughed and said its a common complaint.
The only People who would
Possibly think this food is good is white transplants.
I will never return and again if you want real chinese food at way better price for quality and value, go to any of the 4 Asian neighborhoods in nyc, im even sure theres decent szechuan in midtown and near st marks, just make sure you see asian people eating there. This place obviously not one single asian person eating there.
Our bill was $77 for two dishes and 3 beers, that would buy you a feast at a real chinese restaurant. Williamsburg really aint it for food.

ANOTHER REVIEW INCOMING!
The atmosphere and service at this place is just so welcoming. Amazing restaurant design with long lengthy hallways and plentiful outdoor seating in the back. That alone made me want to come back.
The dishes were all tasty, but I did not try any pork or beef dishes so I feel as if this review is incomplete. Everything was tasty but besides the chicken dumplings I think I would order completely new items next time.
Make sure they get you started with the pickled spicy cabbage. It was delicious.

Solid experience with excellent food, superb service, and great ambience.
Not a single issue for our group and our server was exceptionally helpful and guided us towards some great selections and just the right amount of dishes. The staff as a whole were very professional and we had a very good visit from beginning to end.
The food here is really great and considering location, is actually a good value for what you pay. The food is flavorful and most of the dishes pack a great punch in terms of taste from the very first bite. The General Tso's chicken was my favorite dish full of delight and unlike any other version of the dish I've tried anywhere: great texture, full of greens, not too greasy, and complemented perfectly with a side of white rice. The shrimp toast is dangerously good and I'd definitely make sure to order this dish as a starter on every visit. The soup dumplings were a solid order, as were the cold sesame noodles, which were a big hit with the table. The one dish that I don't think I'd order again was the crispy garlic chicken, which I was most excited to try but found a bit dry and lacking in flavor compared to the rest of our dishes.
Overall, a really great dining experience, especially for a family style dining group outing. I loved the charm of the space, which was subtle and intimate. The staff were very accommodating and made the experience all that more pleasant. One of the few dining experiences in Williamsburg that would draw me back in regularly and is worth the price.

My neighborhood spot for special occasions or when I want to impress out of towners. The food is literally so good, I’ve never had a problem with the quality. Been coming here since this location opened and am never disappointed.

I had a private dim sum birthday brunch in the garden of KCI. It was the most amazing experience. The KCI staff were extremely accommodating to my group, with different dietary needs and made the entire event so seamless and wonderful. They opened up early for our event, were so kind and attentive. The back garden is beautiful and didn’t need any extra decor.
The food was outstanding! We did a pre fixe menu with soup dumplings, egg rolls, scallion pancake omelette, shrimp toast (INCREDIBLE) and angry pig fried rice. Everything was amazing - all the guests were raving about the food and drinks.
I cannot say enough good things, it was the best birthday ever. Highly recommend it for big group events, you won’t regret it.

I recently ordered from King Co Imperial and tried their Dan Dan Mian priced at $15. Additionally, I opted for the Chinese Hanging Pork Ribs priced at $17. While the ribs were acceptable, I found the portion underwhelming considering the price—only four ribs that lacked the tenderness expected and were overly drenched in a sugary sauce, which I found disappointing.
As for the Dan Dan Mian, it failed to impress. The cold noodles and ground pork combination did not appeal to me; I found the dish rather mundane. Moreover, the sauce accompanying it was excessively salty, making it difficult to enjoy alongside the meal.
