I came in to enjoy some authentic puertorican food, but this food was not what i was expecting. The pastele was cold and taste like tomato sauce, the chicken taste like lime and the beans were cold as if it was taken out the fridge. I am highly disappointed. Never again!

This was our first time eating here and last time. The place is not inviting and dim. It is missing something. The white rice was mushy and starchy. The only good thing was the maduros. The red beans lacked flavor. I was hoping for a better experience. I told the server that I did not like the taste of the tres leches cake. It should have been taken off my receipt. It had a gritty and it didn't taste fresh.

The aesthetics is beautiful. I wasn’t impressed with the food. The bacalaito was hard which if served as soon as it was cooked should have been tender. The alcapurria the taste of guineo was good but the meat was salty. The chicharrón de pollo was ok and the arroz con gandules lacked flavor. The wait time was another factor. While I was served my meal, my husband had to wait much much longer for his. I was really looking forward to eat here based on the reviews. Maybe it was an off day.

So good!!! We were visiting at the hospital nearby and stopped in for a quick lunch. It was delicious. Authentic Puerto Rican food, served fast by friendly people. Lots of locals. Parking can be challenging.
So far this place is the best 🇵🇷Puerto Rican🇵🇷 food in New York as of now! And I have eaten so far at Freakin Rican, Casa Adela, and Cocotazo. I know there’s probably more Puerto Rican restaurants to visit here in New York. Kiosko 787 Alcapurias are delicious. Pastelijos are so good. Bacalaito are to die for! Chicharones de pollo are tender and season right. Reminded me as if I was eating at the isla de Canto. Finally a spot that people could eat and enjoy Puerto Rican food the way it’s meant to taste like. Let’s not forget the service was super friendly and attentive. Atmosphere there, a experience to enjoy.

Great place for those of us who are far away from our beloved island, cozy, intimate and full of sazón boricua! Service was really good! They even had a video showing you stamps of our beautiful island! A must destination! Tried the triplets, the queso frito and the arroz con bistec, all full of flavor!!!

I came here and take out food the pastel was soggy taste wasn't good couldn't find the meat and food wasn't all good and the portion looks like they threw it the package with there hands sloppy and also they forgot to give me 1thing from my menu never go there again
